Don’t bother.
For the burrito they melt American cheese on top of the tortilla. That’s not a burrito.
My boyfriend ordered steak with red sauce… the choice was green or red. When the meal came it was chicken in a mole sauce. The staff didn’t seem to care they got the meat and the sauce wrong– not like they were busy.
Too expensive for what you get.

So this is only my second time here and I’m really disappointed. The first time I ordered the chilaquiles and it was delicious and everything was great. This time I ordered the bistec encebollado en salsa verde (steak with onions in green sauce) and when it came out it had no onions and it was in a redish-​brown sauce. When I asked about the discrepancy, they were unapologetic and said they didn’t have any tomatillos so they used red tomatoes instead and they forgot the onions. They offered to grill up some onions for me but did not offer to make something else or discount my meal.
I’m more than a little put off by the fact that they didn’t tell me that they couldn’t make what I ordered and allow me to choose something else from the menu. And I’m pretty sure that sauce didn’t have any tomatoes in it, red or otherwise. Whatever it was it was extremely greasy I’m (generously) giving them 2 stars because what they did cook, whatever it was and whatever you call it, was delicious with just the right amount of spicy kick.
I’m also disappointed because it was a kind of pricey meal for my neighborhood at $ 13. When I spend that much for dinner in my neighborhood that’s a splurge and I at least want to get what I ordered. There’s probably at least half a dozen other really good Mexican restaurants within a two block walk that I could’ve gone to instead.
On top of being disappointed with the food I was also disappointed with the atmosphere. I don’t mind a dive, and that’s what I was expecting at this place, but I really didn’t enjoy having the soccer game blaring loudly the entire time. When I first entered I also got weird looks from the staff who seems confused about why was there. I finally went up and asked for a menu so that they understood I wanted to eat. From that point on, the waitress was otherwise very nice and pleasant.
Finally, after being so disappointed by my meal, when I had finished eating and I was paying my bill they started receiving a delivery of groceries and left the door wide open so that I was freezing in the restaurant. Normally I probably wouldn’t even complain about that but at this point I was really annoyed.

Love Lobito Loco! Always order chicken or steak burrito. They come with rice and beans on the sides. The burritos are full to the max with fresh clean meat, onion and peppers. Always delicious. $ 12 for the burrito plates. Then… The guacamole is to die for! Made fresh with avocado when you order. Please don’t pass this place by… You need to satisfy your Mexican food taste here! Look no further for the perfect meal.
