Ohhhhhhhh Yeahhhhh. Lets start of with that. I had a friend order a dish the for me via take out 3 years ago and the problem was I never remembered the dish,… Finally I found the dish and we reunited. If you step foot in this well lightly remodeled restaurant you will be please with the service and the food. Waitresses and staff are great looking for eye candy. Ask for The chaufa dish with Shrimp. Love it. Will return again,… Tomorrow,. For breakfast.

Food and flavor is good but delivery and consistency are their weak spots. It’s rare when they get it right for delivery — they Call me 9 out of 10 times to find out which building I live in and they still don’t know how to come into the building that I have to meet them downstairs bc they can’t dial properly — what’s the point of delivery? Consistency: same dish and has different amounts of rice, salsa, beans every time. Same amount of dishes ordered and every time I get a different amount of yellow sauces. They could improve on those two and be much better place!

The food is good! I ordered bisteck encebollado(steak and rice). The steak was really good and juicy, and the potatoes were seasoned well. The meal was DELICIOUS. The passion fruit juice tasted really good. The prices are affordable. The Old House will not rip you off. I asked the waitress for a cup of half juice, half water(I don’t like my drinks too sweet), so she only billed me for half a juice.

Old house has good lomo saltados and sea food soup. I don’t come here often but prices are pretty good. Ive sat to dine and service wasn’t so good, I recommend taking out for a quick cheap meal.

The best pollo saltado I have ever had! Definitely recommend to anyone who loves Peruvian food. Great service & always the freshest food given! Love this place

Wish I could give this place no stars. I use to order from here alot .I would always get the tallarine noodles with chicken and extra green sauce. One day I just wanted something light so I got the papusos. Bad idea I took one bite and there was 2 huge hairs in it. From that day on I will never order from Old House again. Thats how gross it was!

I love this place. I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t matter what they put in front of me though, as long as I can drench it in their aji sauce

After an hour long drive from NYC to Stamford, we were famished and looking for a place to eat. This restaurant was among the few located near the Hilton Stamford Hotel so we drove on over. It was a pretty deserted restaurant for a Thursday evening, but no complaints. I ordered grilled chicken with sweet plantains and french fries. Very quiet restaurant with affordable prices. I was very satisfied with my portion and tried to pick up a bit of Spanish from the shows on the jumbo TV screens.

I really wanted to love this place, and I’m definitely going to give it another chance, because the food wasn’t bad, it’s just that they don’t have pollo a la brassa on the menu. To me, somebody who is by the way not Peruvian, that is quintessential Peruvian food. I ordered a plate of broiled chicken, beans and fries, which was good, and my boyfriend got the lomo saltado which he thought was very good. I’m going to go back, like I said, but I really need to find my «go to» dish in order to keep going back.
