KFC

They tell you they don’t have what you ordered after they charge you and hand you the box. The replace what you ordered with whatever they could find on the floor.

Chicken is always dry and inedible. This is a shame because I love Kfc but this location is unacceptable

Ok. This KFC is horrible! I stopped going because they’re always out of chicken breasts. So, after working all day & this location is very convenient, I took a chance. I order a grilled chicken breast & the worker says we don’t have any grilled breast. Really? I will never go to this location AGAIN!

Worst place ever… chicken is not well done yet there’s still blood inside… more skin than meat… taste bad… my first time and also last time coming to this place…

On a Thursday night we arrived at the drive-​thru at 10:00pm. All the lights were out including the outside menu lights. We assumed they were closed but pulled up anyway just in case. They were open (despite ALL the lights being out) and surprisingly asked for our order. Upon ordering, they informed us it would take 7 minutes to cook our order because they had nothing cooked. Why would they turn off all their lights and stop cooking a full hour before closing time? I’ve never worked in fast food before but it seems lazy to me.

Ok folks. Let’s not kid ourselves. We are talking about a FAST FOOD establishment here. It comes down to two things; Food and service! That’s is why I rated this place 5 stars. Employees are awesome and the food has always been what I «expect»

Ordered a 16 pc bucket with 4 sides to go. Asked for extra crispy — not available. OK. Went home with bucket. Missing a side. Ugh. Chicken — soggy. 12 pcs later– missing 4 pcs. Ugh.

Four stars for a maintained building.
Three stars for pretty good food in comparison to other Houston KFCs. (This is the better one)
Three stars for drive thru. Accurate and fast.
One star for front counter staff. It’s pretty bad w order taking and speed. I’ve been coming here off and on for four years.
But tonight, I’m giving tonight’s management a negative three stars.
The drive thru is a measurable timed performance. From my limited vantage point, not so much counter lobby service. Management took a survey of us in the lobby and smiled and ducked in his office. Meanwhile the one front counter cashier assembled the drive thru orders, directed others to make more of what was needed, took lobby orders, handled cash, assembled and handed out lobby orders. The manager didn’t come out in the time I was in line with others waiting for their order to be assembled and or taken by the dear one counter person. The dear front counter staff did it all.
As a former fast food worker, the glibness of management with an all is well smile, made me angry. Perhaps he had paperwork. Maybe he was on break. Or maybe he wasn’t on the clock. But during rush hour? That was insensitive and a great way to burn out the crew.
And maybe I’m 100 wrong.

This place serves up that one special chicken tenders combo that’ll keep you wanting more. The mashed potato side dish is ok.

While not a fan of the standard fried chicken, I thought I would try something else from the KFC menu for a quick and different lunch. I chose a three piece chicken tenders combo with a side of potato wedges and unsweetened tea. Not exactly health food but on occasion lunch is what it is.
Two of the tenders were quite good: crispy outside without being greasy and juicy well cooked chicken inside. However, the third tender seemed as if it had been sitting unnoticed in the food bin for sometime. The breading was hard, the chicken inside was very dry and the whole tender wasn’t even what you could call lukewarm. It was inedible for me but my dogs, who have non discerning palates agreeable to most foods, enjoyed it.
The potato wedges were decent but, like the chicken was a mix of mostly crispy outside and fluffy hot potato inside along with a few soggy, cold and not done inside.
I can’t complain too much because the meal overall was good. It’s fast food so I don’t expect to be wowed. They did get my drink of unsweetened tea correct and that’s a plus.
Would I give this KFC another chance? Yes, although it’s not a place I regularly world visit. Mistakes in cooking timing, etc. can happen. When I do decide to give this KFC another try I hope the kitchen can send out the whole order cooked correctly. Most of my order was cooked right and rates a solid A-​OK.

I give this place a 0 star rating. They do say sorry no original receipe extra crispy or grilled only then they said it would be 25 minutes to make more. They give out the leftovers. Upper management needs to do something up to and including closing this business.

I always come to KFC in search of some delicious fried chicken, but unfortunately I always leave with disappointment and questionable bowels. Just say no.

I’m not a KFC person. I grew up on another chain’s chicken and I’ll always prefer their chicken to KFC. That’s not to say I haven’t eaten KFC, or been in many KFC restaraunts, because I have.
This place is on a convenient corner. There’s plenty of parking and the staff is always, always friendly. Inside is very, very clean.
I’ve never had an issue with them being out of any item. It’s always hot, and always decent food.

This KFC location sucks! i dont like it at all. Nine times out of ten when i stop by to buy chicken (original recipe, please!) they tell me «no, we are out of the original. Grilled or crispy only.»
OK. if this happens only 1 – 2 times out of ten, i can totally understand and wont have a complaint. BUT, it almost always happens that way if I stop by after 830 PM!!! i dunno if there’s a hidden policy inside the kitchen saying no original fried chicken after 830 PM, or maybe the staff is just lazy and wants to fry no more chicken!
As a result, i dont buy from here no more. Not like this is the ONLY KFC in town!
