Sears Optical

I went with my 16 year old. I told the lady our price range and she assured me she could help. I already had the script in hand when a patient came out. I told them to help her, we could wait. In the meantime 3 women came in laughing and carrying on. They apparently work there. One decided to help us. Then a young man walked in and she handed us over to him. He wanted me to send 400 dollars. I told him I would order them on the 15^th. They never called us and we never called them. I really didn’t want to spend 400 since they didn’t have a lot to choose from. I also wasn’t going to trust them to order glasses or check my son’s eye pressure since they didn’t seem to take anything seriously. I contacted them (main office) and was supposed to get a response from the store in 3 days, and that didn’t happen. We ended up going back to America’s Best and spent close to 400 dollars and got a lot of the bells and whistles. My son can see now and he has glasses in hand so in the end it all worked out. Oh and 2 of the 3 computers didn’t work so we had to keep, moving and apparently my son looks like Ed Sheeran. He really doesn’t but he does have reddish hair.

This location is located in the Mid Rivers Mall on the lower level. I always see Dr. Lisa because she is so nice and informative I can’t bring myself to go anywhere else. The selection of frames is just ok. The last time I went I had a really hard time deciding on frames. It is a huge commitment and nothing was jumping out at me. The associate that was helping me was really great (I forgot her name). She went and picked out frames that she thought I would look good in and I actually choose one of the frames she picked out. I was skeptical at first, but I am a happy camper after she helped me with my new frames!
They do have an awesome selection of sun glasses. I didn’t need any help with those, but she picked out a couple different frames because I said I like a certain style. I knew the frames I wanted as soon as I saw them. I was nice to try on other styles just to make sure.
The associate that helped me when I picked up my glasses was not as awesome, but she got the job done and I was in and out once she got the frames fitted to my face. Overall I like this location because the staff is friendly and helpful and the location is ok. I’m not a huge fan of the mall, but I will go for this store in particular. Thanks for helping me outside of my box super friendly and helpful lady!
