I went to the dunkin donuts today and the lady who I spoke with offered me a medium instead of a small, she let me know about the promotion they had. The medium was on sale and it saved me some money. She was very friendly and I would’ve tipped her for her excellent customer service if I had cash.

I needed to write this after visiting this store 5 times. Each time, i’m thinking ‘Okay, its just a small out of the way place’. But consistently, poor quality and price seems higher than other Dunkin Donuts. Worst Dunkin D, i’ve ever had. Food seems like its been sitting out for a while. Donuts are never fresh. It also seems they give you less hash rounds than other places(is 4 pieces standard)? Also, it seems a little pricier here than other places. Figuring their location, crappy parking lot, out of the way location, it would be cheaper. Plus, the roof is leaking by the door near the back counter standing area.

Who doesn’t like the Dunkin Donut? The product is always consistent. Service, no so much. This morning, although not crowded, it seemed chaotic. The lady behind the register just kept yelling out the orders. The coffee was good. The donuts were good. I don’t know if the air conditioning was working but it was at least 80 – 85 degrees in the place; a little uncomfortable to enjoy the hot coffee.

This is my every morning coffee stop. The employees are friendly, quick, and accurate. They always get my order right and even when there is a line, it moves quickly.

My son and I tend to stop here for his donut, and my ice coffee. It’s not bad. Service is quick my ice coffee is descent. And my son hasn’t complained about his donut. So I would recommend this place for a donut or 2.

I don’t usually do donuts but being in a good mood, I decided to stop for donuts for the office this morning forgetting I was on crutches and both hands were occupied. I’ve learned a lot being on crutches the past six weeks like some people are helpful and others would rather knock a disabled person down then look at them. The staff in this Dunkin’ Donuts could not have been more helpful right up to and including carrying my purchase out to my car for me. More businesses need to offer such service.

Having been exposed to the inner workings of a bakery as a child, having an afinity for great doughnuts and expecting the best — most ‘Dunkin’ Donuts’ fall short of exceptional! This location is no different. Despite the new facelift, with its new façade and modernized and updated interior — the overall quality of the baked goods leave alot to be desired! And, I don’t get their ‘America runs on Dunkin’” slogan — their coffee sucks! Although there’s potential, DD has a long way to go and this location isn’t helping! I frequent here on occaision only because there isn’t another doughnut bakery for miles!

Just a word of warning, some of the reviews here are for another DD location in Springfield. Even the photo is wrong. The correct store is right on Backlick Rd. close to a Jiffy Lube. The store is normally clean and the staff there are generally friendly and do a good job getting your order completed. Morning rush can sometimes get a bit crazy but they seem to handle it in stride. They even remember a majority of their regulars’ orders. Just a note, though: if you walk in there during morning rush trying to grab donuts for your whole office without calling it in ahead of time they won’t be happy… and neither will the other customers waiting in line behind you.

Most of the reviews for this restaurant pertain to Dunkin Donuts as a chain, not this individual store, so they’re skewed positively reflecting brand loyalty and menu. The staff at this store are kind and seem to do a good job. There’s not a very long wait, they’re good about moving customers through the line, and they’re friendly and seem to enjoy their work. Parking is near impossible if it’s busy, so prepare to park on the street or in a neighboring lot. It’s not far, just inconvenient, but since the store is at an angle on a corner lot, there’s not much room for parking. The store itself however, is absolutely disgusting. I live within walking distance, and have been here multiple times. There is never ever anyone cleaning the restaurant. The tables are filthy from previous customers, the floor has a consistent layer of dirt, and the bathroom is horrid. Cleanliness isn’t even on the radar for this location, it’s terrible. The kitchen areas that are view-able seem acceptably clean. From years in the food industry, I’ve seen better, but certainly experienced much worse. Outside of a completely unacceptable filthy customer environment, there seems to be an issue with food orders and logistics. Perhaps a new POS system is in order for this site. When ordering food and drinks that are immediately accessible to the register staff, the orders go off without a hitch. However, every time I’ve ordered something that requires the kitchen to make it, such as a sandwich meal, the food is either not made, or it’s made out of order, behind later orders. Each time I’ve had to re-order my food with the kitchen staff, or correct the order, to get the food. This adds fifteen to twenty minutes to the wait time. I’m not sure what the disconnect is between the register and the kitchen ten feet away, but save your receipt and be sure to watch the cook, to make sure your meal is actually being made. The last trip to this restaurant will be my last for awhile. My girlfriend and I stopped by on Sunday, March 42012. I ordered the angus breakfast sandwich meal with a coffee, she ordered a turkey cheddar sandwich meal with a large unsweet iced tea. Wait time was 36 minutes, because our order, surprise surprise, was completely missed. Once we got the food, we found that there were no hash browns. The cook stated that the meals for those didn’t come with hash browns… which seems to defeat the point of having the meal to begin with. Perhaps I read the menu incorrectly, but it was still frustrating. My sandwich and coffee were good. My girlfriends tea however tasted like iced coffee. Since she can’t stand coffee, she had to throw it away. Even I was surprised at how much it tasted like coffee. The assumption is that they re-used a coffee maker to brew tea and never cleaned it, which is disgusting. And since we’d already spent a half hour at the store, there was no reason to request a new one. We’d already lost our appetites sitting in the dining area. Please don’t associate this negative review as a bad reflection on the staff. The staff are friendly, work hard, and seem to want to do a good job. The issues I’ve discovered here should be a direct reflection on management at this store, and on the Dunkin Donuts brand. Both seem completely disconnected from this store, and there’s absolutely no excuse to have a dining room in such a disgusting state. Wiping tables, mopping floors, and emptying overflowing trash bins is not only simple to do but a standard practice at Starbucks, McDonalds, and any other similar franchised restaurant, and are activities I see frequently when visiting them. I’ve yet to see any cleaning utilities at this store, let alone someone cleaning. Completely unacceptable. I’ll be waiting a few months before braving this store again, to see if anyone decides to correct the issues. Dunkin Donuts has a great menu, good prices, and has a store of hard working staff here, and I hope that they get their act together.

Meh, this place is alright. The ladies in there seem nice, but disorganized. Neat yet untidy. Quick to get the order, yet impersonal. Yup, there are oxymorons involved here, good on you for catching that. This is just how I feel when I walk into this joint, a mishmash of great but terrible things. I much rather prefer the one on Backlick road not a mile away but if I’m heading the opposite direction I will stop here. Somewhat sketchy location as cars turn in and out from all directions, be mindful of your surroundings. Take into account that his place isn’t terrible, I just reserve my 5 star ratings for anything other than absolute perfection every single visit. EDIT: I HAD to bump this down another star because they keep raising their dozen donut prices. They’re now at an absolutely incredible $ 7 and change for a box of 12. WHY? I can buy ONE for ONEDOLLAR! Over the past year, I’ve seen numerous price increases of donuts like this at Dunkin, and it’s sad because other places further away of decent quality can be had for MUCH cheaper. Pretty soon, people are going to start catching on to this and they’ll hopefully be foced to lower their pricing on boxes, but damn… I can’t pay seven bucks for 12 donuts. They’re not exactly ‘craft’ or ‘gormet’ donuts, now are they?

I love Dunkin Donuts already but this one just happens to be on my way to work and my coffee’s always hot, my food is always fresh and the people working always have a positive attitude. 10 thumbs up to whomever is managing this D.D. and keep it up!

I used to not be able to drink coffee due to its acidity(ahem Starbucks) but the coffee here is the best! This particular location is fairly new(within a year) and nestled in the dreary Springfield/Backlick road area, right across from the Brookfield Plaza. All the other ones I have been to in VA are claustrophobic. But this one is much bigger than normal and very clean. Best of all the coffee here is slightly better than a couple others that are closer to my house. This location is closer to my work, although I still drive out of my way to go to this paricular one. The staff here is awsome and several of them already know how I take my coffee without me saying anything.
