Subway

I have visited Subway probably hundreds of times. Today I had a Turkey breast sub loaded with all veggies. They were out of wheat bread (bummer), so I went with white. You can’t fully enjoy Subway without a lemonade. Everything was fresh and I felt pretty healthy afterwards.
I used a «buy 6″ sub, drink and chips get another sub free» It seems no matter what deal or coupon you use at Subway the price for a foot long, drink and chips is $ 7-​$ 8. And you can’t use thus coupon on the discounted promotion subs (i.e. $ 2 cold cut etc.)
This location was very clean, orderly and the service was great. The Lay’s chip bags are getting smaller and they feel like bags of air. My barbecue chips were crumbs. It seems Subway should check their vendor’s for some quality control.

This Subway is the most delici — ok, it is the only thing open when your work break is at ten in the morning. Unless you’re craving Taco Bell; which, I never am.
Twice a week I can be found eating a six-​inch wheat, with turkey and pepper jack cheese, for a thirty minute morning sit down.
The sandwich constructors of the morning shifts recognize me and there is always friendly service given over an array of fresh veggies.
This good olé Subway would have gotten a star more for its six-​inch wonders had it not been for my last visit. A new employee was elected to make my sandwich and the steps were as follows:
1. Put on gloves
2. Ask what kind of bread I fancy
3. Touch the back counter
4. Use both hands to move a bread tray
5. Open door to fresh bread, not by the handle, but by the bottom frame of the door
6. Grab bread
7. SPREAD open bread with both hands
8. Ask what kind of meat I’d like on ny germ bread
I would only hope Subway regularly cleans their counter tops and such. but I thought the gloves were supposed to be one more step to protect my sandwich against the outside world?
Asked for different bread, I did.
They complied no problem.
Best part of Subway? Even if they want to do something to your sandwich ’cause you fussed (politely!), they can’t!
I will return to enjoy another sandwich, chip, and drink combo.
