Sonic Drive In

This one is a well ran Sonic, it’s funny how a couple blocks down the road (i45 & Cypresswood) the service is so bad! I highly recommend driving a few extra blocks to get great service!

This is the sonic I always visit. They are a lot friendlier than the other location close to my house. I am always greeted with a smile and feel like they care. Service is always prompt and they have never messed up my order. I Definitely will always be returning here.

I’ve been coming here regularly since I was a young kid. Quick lunch and cool cheap drinks. I’ve been having bad service at this location often around noon to 1pm. I always get incorrect orders. I went today and made a simple order just to have the guy freeze up and stop talking altogether. With no answer I just left and went to the one on 45 which was almost just as bad except they actually took our order.

I am not a huge fan of fast food but I typically choose this drive-​in when I need a fixin of mozerella sticks or a shake. Yum yum. And the service is superb. Never forget to tip your car hop. I have seen people give a quarter from their 50cent tip!

Fast friendly service. Food is what you expect from a Sonic. Location is always clean.

Okay, we went to this location again today. We only ordered drinks, but it took 20 minutes for them to come out, and when they finally came out, every drink came out like we ordered, but the person who took our order misheard us, and gave us medium fries, not a medium Sprite like we asked them to. We told the girl who brought our drink order to get the Sprite we ordered, and she reappeared a minute later with the Sprite we ordered, but it was a Route 44 Sprite, not a medium like we asked. The service here is really bad, and if you like waiting more than 20 minutes for your order, this is the location for you! The Sonic across from Spring High School on Interstate 45 is worth the drive, go there instead! Don’t waste your time here.

Their «Famous Slush» drinks are a no-​no. I worked at Sonic in high school. Yes, yes I was a car hop, stop snickering. The way the slushes are made ensured that I would not be drinking ANY more of those. A HUGE amount of sugar is mixed with water and frozen into the slush form. Then they simply added the flavoring, similar to snowcones, and stir. Hence, it’s a flavored cup of frozen sugar! These things have more grams of sugar than a 44oz. Coke! I don’t even wanna think about what that would do to my kids and their energy level!
On a good note, they serve full menu all day, which usually includes fresh tea!
