This is really Mexican food. The flavor is great and the variety excellent. They have a variety of salsas spicy and not so spicy.

This food truck is awesome! Authentic & delicious Mexican food. I’m from south Texas and have been searching for good Mexican food for a while. I have found my spot! I’ll definitely be coming back. The owner and cook is such a sweet lady. From what I can tell, she has different specials throughout the week, but has your staple tacos and other items regularly. I ordered the chicken gorditas today and they were delicious! Her rice and beans are homemade and very tasty as well. I’m excited to go back and try the barbacoa tacos and the mole. I saw a few others with the mole and it looked amazing! She is open from 5AM — 4PM so you can stop early and get breakfast tacos before work too! They only accept cash so be prepared. The food is very reasonably priced, especially for the amount of food you get. The way it works: 1. Order at the window from the posted menu 2. Sit down and they will bring the food out to you 3. Go back to the window and pay on your way out

Love this truck. Sofy is a doll and makes almost everything by hand. The breakfast tacos are great, the specials are almost always consistently awesome and the service from Sofy is great and pleasant. Only ding is either don’t be picky about selection of drinks as they have refrescos and sugar drinks plus water. Not coffee, tea, diet drinks, beer. That said, if you remember to bring your own, that’s no problem. all that said, the homemade salsas are worth it my themselves. All of this makes this light years better than that Taqueria a rock’s throw away.

I have the most amazing obsession with Sofy and her taqueria! Haha! Her food is just like«grandmas», as they say. I mean delicious and authentic Mexican food. I have yet to have anything that I didn’t like. Sofy is just as wonderful as her food! If she’s there she’ll come out and talk to you. She’s quickly turned into my Texas Abueltia!

5-Stars to you! We went for breakfast on a whim, after seeing the rating here on Unilocal. After ordering, we got to meet Mrs. Sofie. She was pleasant, answered our questions, and made delicious breakfast tacos. The taco was fairly greasy for a breakfast taco, but it was still delicious. The sign says cash only, for future reference. Must try!

I have had this place twice. The first time I went for lunch and had 3 chorizo tacos. They weren’t that great and were extremely greasy. I literally could have filled a shot glass with all the grease that came out of my tacos. The taste wasn’t terrible but there are so many other places around where you can find better tacos. I decided to try them a second time to try out their breakfast tacos one morning. I still wasn’t impressed. I ordered 2 sausage, egg and cheese tacos but the sausage was cut up sausage from a link. I was expecting this to be ground sausage I guess. The breakfast tacos were sub par to say the least in regards to taste. In fact, if I were choosing breakfast tacos, I’d just drive down the road to Whataburger.

Sofy’s makes the BEST breakfast tacos I have had in many years. By far there is no other location in or near the Woodlands that comes remotely close. Everything is handmade and fresh. The salsa is unbelievably good. You can get tamales on Saturdays, I highly recommend trying them. Bring cash as no cards are accepted.

Was never a fan of these food trailer/trucks until now. This is good food made from scratch fast. The owner is eager to greet customers and take care of their needs. After years of traveling on corporate expense account & eating at well known expensive restaurants in various cities, my local unknown, dare I call them ‘dives’ are my favorites. Places everyone can fit it, food is incredible, atmosphere can’t be replicated, prices are more than fair and everyone goes away happy, wanting to return.

Exceptional service and food! Sofy is extremely kind. She was laughing and teaching me Spanish! She made me two breakfast tacos at 1pm, even though she says they normally stop serving them at 11. The food was awesome — very flavorful, fresh, and the perfect size. The chips even appeared to be freshly fried! Sofy also requested that I post that for anybody wanting to order tamales or any other holiday food, please get your orders in now! Please also note that this is a cash only location. Even so, I highly recommend it!

Delicious little taco joint. Stopped by for breakfast… And ended up ordering lunch, too. Super friendly staff(and bilingual). Picnic tables for eating on site. Tamales on Saturday(call ahead, apparently they go quickly). They have a menu, but will make whatever combination you ask for. Prices are on the high side of reasonable.

This place is one of the best trucks in town. The lady that owns it always is friendly. Her food is all home cooked with love. You have to go and try her tongue tacos! You will not be disappointed! !

My boyfriend and I needed a quick breakfast stop. Finding Sofy’s Taqueria on Unilocal was the best thing ever. We were immediately attracted to her fresh fruit drinks, the little dine in set up, and her handwritten poster board menu. It took me forever to order because of all the yummy options, and I was distracted by her homemade stack of flour TORTILLAS that she was making! Sofy(the owner and cook) was super sweet, friendly and funny. She took so much pride in her food, and that she should have. It was delicious. I ordered the steak and egg tacos and my boyfriend ordered the huevos rancheros plate. Our food was so amazing we felt like we were at home, which we found out Sofy was also from San Antonio, Texas. Oh, it was also pouring rain and she was sweeping all the water away from the tables while conversing with us. It was a perfect experience.

If I could give a zero star I would. I came to this place Wednesday with the hope of finally finding good tacos. I read all the reviews and decided to give a chance but I wish I would’ve stayed home instead. To start the fajitas were so watery and plain(like if it was boiled) that it destroyed the tortilla it was wrapped in. The gordita shell was precooked(not fresh) and then reheated and served to me. The rice was undercooked and some pieces were straight up hard. It was around 345 in the afternoon and it was a young man cooking. I guess there breakfast must be what everyone says is good. I definitely would not recommend this place. I guess back on looking for a good street taco on the north side.

Decide to try this place out after work and it did not disappoint. Best flour tortillas I’ve ever had! The barbacoa is on point! Not too greasy. I also tried the chorizo and eggs which was also delish! Very big portion and the green salsa is very good as well! Will definitely be going here more often after work. The owner is very friendly!

The owner is so kind! She seems to be very passionate about her cooking. Went for breakfast tacos and boy are those things HUGE and they are good! Made to order, with full strips of bacon, plenty of eggs, beans and cheese. Two tacos will fill even the biggest appetites! Their Aguas Frescas are so refreshing. I definitely recommend the strawberry horchata. Even though I went on a steamy summer morning, it has covered seating, so it’s bearable to eat in the Texas heat. The only thing I wish would change is the placement of the dumpster. You can smell the garbage when the wind blows. Otherwise, this may be my go-to for tacos!

This is now in my top 3 tacos in the area. They are open super early. The food is great — everything is fresh including the flour tortillas! Pretty wide menu and a Sofy rocks it out — quick and efficient. Outside seating, pickled carrots and jalapenos. Most importantly tasty. The best egg/bacon breakfast taco I’ve had. The fresh tortilla was a huge plus, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the bacon crisp. The tacos are a bit bigger than some other places. Different agua fresca every day. Check her out. My other 2 favorites are: Primos — in the«All Time» gas station near the«back» entrance to Fox Run and Chychos on Aldine Westfield

Tacos are legit! Flour tortillas are really good and homemade style. The chorizo wasn’t greasy. Bacon and egg was on point too. I hate going places and the eggs are runny in a taco. Ew. Try this truck out! It’s like mom making you something in the kitchen. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Seriously.

What’s not to like?!? Delicious food prepared by hand by a woman who loves her customers. This is, indeed, NOT your average taco truck. The food is fresh and beautifully prepared to order by Sofy. She has a cooler with iced-down drinks, and usually has one or two large batches of horchata and/or freshly squeezed juice — cantaloupe, mango, pineapple, watermelon — and they are delicious! There is a large covered area, so you are in the shade while ordering, while waiting, and — if you choose to eat there — while you dine. There are 3 nice picnic tables, each with a roll of paper towels and complimentary jalapeños and pickled carrots. It’s hard to imagine that you would be disappointed with your experience — enjoy!
