I come to this place very very often. I can’t get enough of their $ 6.20 especial. Their drinks are great, their rice and beans are delicious and their green salsa is spicy and yummy as well! There’s nothing bad I can say about this place. If you want cheap authentic Mexican food come here! You’re welcome.

It looks really authentic from Monterrey. I am a regia and I have had a very hard time with mexican food here in Houston & The Woodlands. Tacos are supposed to overlap, meat is supposed to fall on the other tacos and you are expected to use your hands, I thought it was funny to read someone was writing that as a complaint. That is a delicious part of mexican tacos, now americanized tacos are very different and I don’t care for those, but you can complain about something like that when you go get american tacos. These look fabulous and delicious and authentic, I can’t wait to go!

Their chicken was well seasoned, but their staff was very unprofessional. My wife asked for some lime and the girl gave my wife a piece of lime from her hand.

You know the Taqueria Arandas off 45 north past Rayford-​Sawdust? Drive right past it and turn into the next strip center and eat here. Wow. The food is amazing. Excellent quality, good price and the service is great.

I have eaten 2 times here. Well, ordered to go. The chicken is to die for. They have killer sauces, the green one is my fav. Great beans, but they come more as some sort of soup. Also ordered a chicken quesadilla which was not only delicious but also generously filled. The chicken comes with rice, beans and corn tortillas. I went one night and the lady was very nice, I went next day at noon and there was another lady who wasn’t nice at all. The food is great and it comes out very quickly. The place looks clean. Just be prepared for speaking Spanish or to show the things you want to order by pointing at them in the menu.

I’m finding the pieces of chicken have been getting smaller the last couple visits on the $ 5.50 special. Also only been getting a bony little thigh and drumstick.
Ordered the 5 pastor taco plate and the tacos were all overlapping each other. The filling fell out trying to pick them up. My limes were just thrown in the bottom of the large to go bag. Never seen food thrown together so sloppy here in the past. Dropping to 3 stars for now.

Great place to get grilled chicken that is savory and full of flavor. I tried the platter with chicken, ribs, sausage and steak strips and it was enough for two people. Very reasonably priced and this is a no frills place but the food is great.

If you want authentic Mexican tacos this is the place to go. I travel to Mexico extensively and this is the closest place I have found in Houston after living here for 20+ years to meet the same standard as Mexico. Not many places do El Pastor right but this place nails it. Check it out for lunch or dinner. You won’t be disappointed! BEWARE: This is NOT Tex Mex…
