Wow, perfect custom shutters for my hone interior windows and done in 3 weeks! This place is the very best. Ryan in sales came by right away to measure and give an estimate. They are not cheap but well worth it. He gives you a tour of their facility which is right behind the show room. All your shutters are custom hand made right there and stained the shade you want them too. It only took the installers 30 minutes to pop them in and secure., and a perfect fit. Very elegant to say the least and really adds to the home value. Solid wood too!!! Another company I had an estimate with said 8 weeks to get and they had to come from California. No thanks. I will buy from Accent again and highly recommended by a very picky home owner. Well done guys!

Accent Shutters came to my home and measured for plantation shutters for a master bath. On March 21, 2015, they called to say that the estimate had just been emailed to me. On March 23, I took the estimate into their store to order the shutters. While paying, I noticed a discrepancy between their estimate and the price they were now charging. When I inquired about this difference of about $ 150, at first they were not quite sure but then told me the estimate was wrong and this new price was correct. Their explanation of the discrepancy was that my computer at my home was a AppleMAC. What??? I don’t think I have experienced that quality of costumer service before and decide to not make the purchase.

I called Accent Shutters to inquire about getting shutters and was greeted by Phyllis, whose tone of voice was not friendly at all, but I really didn’t mind that. I asked her if the company offered free estimates and she said it depends on where I live so I went ahead and told her. then she asked me for my name and I said «Vivyan» and she rudely responded with «Vivyan what!?» But that was okay with me, too. She asked for my address and phone number and said she would call back to set up an appointment because everyone else was out to lunch at the time. It has been 4 days now and no call back. I guess they’re having a week long lunch.
After the phone call with Phyllis, I didn’t feel good about how the conversation transpired so I called another company, ONSITE SHUTTERS AND BLINDS and wow, what a difference! I got serviced right away. The agent offered to come immediately as he was in the area to take measurements and to give us a quote without charge. Free estimation, no pressure AND a LIFETIME WARRANTY. My husband and I are very happy that we were able to order plantation shutters for our whole house and it was a BIG order.
We could have overlooked Phyllis’ not-​so-​friendly personality but the fact that we never received a call back was utterly unprofessional. Sure, we had already closed a deal with another company, as a result of the conversation with Phyllis, but in the very least, businesses need to call customers back. They could have made $$$$$ off of us; it’s just too bad.

They provided outstanding service and meticulous attention to detail! Even though we live out of state and everything was done over the phone and on Skype, the installation was painless, swift and flawless. Their customer service and follow up was impressive! Everyone was absolutely fantastic to work with. The workmanship and quality is excellent. The color matched the existing trim perfectly. The end result was that we received exactly what we were looking for. We recommend this service to anyone who is looking for shutters.
