U-Haul Moving & Storage of Spring Valley

This is the first time i have ever written a review and its because the customer service i got at this uhaul branch was so bad. I booked online and, when i got to the branch they didnt have my truck. Front desk person, Oscar seemed like he just started that day and looked clueless as what to do. He told me to find another place to find a truck? Shouldnt they be the ones solving this issue for me? He should not be in customer service. Manager Blanca didnt even come out or talk to me and i just felt like i wasnt taken cared of. Never going here again.

Initially had a problem being billed for a month after my sailor daughter moved out of storage and had turned in her keys in under 30 days. Blanca, the manager took my call and assured me the error would be corrected and that her balance is now zero. Thank you Blanca. It is always great to have businesses take care of those who serve to keep us free!

Blanca was great! prices are reasonable for storage. Blanca delivered excellent customer service, took time to explain the security of the facility so I known items are safe.

I had my things in storage for over 2.5 years. In that time I have been treated perfectly! Blanca is very serious about finding the right employees to interact with her customers.
In all this time, I have found the staff to be professional, kind, and friendly. It is without reservation that I highly recommend this Uhaul location to others.
I have rented trucks here, always ready to go quickly! I love this store. If you are moving buy their brown tape. Nothing in the world works better!

I’ve been coming to this u haul location for the past four years and have never had a problem. Blanca, in the main office, is always very friendly and helpful. All the vans i’ve rented have been well maintained and run great. I always make sure to purchase the insurance but have never had an incident. The paperwork process is always quick and painless. The customer service here is definitely what keeps me coming back. Hope this was helpful! :)

I will never again use u-​haul, and yes, I can say never because there’s plenty of other options. The truck was rented on August 1^st at 1:35, was told it’s due back by 6:30 pm the same day. First of all, EVERY time we’ve used this company, rentals are for a 24hr period. Why pay $ 19.95 plus mileage for 5 hours when I go to another location and get it for 24hrs? I was told due to the fact that we reserved it online, we could not have it 24hrs because there is no option for it online. I called and said that’s BS and we are going to have it for the full rental period. We then called back to say we needed it an extra day.
It was returned today, August 3^rd at 1:09pm and were charged for a third day. That was explained because in the system, it said it was to be back by 6:30 on the first. Why it wasn’t changed when I called to tell them we’d have it at least the 24hrs, I don’t know. And to top it off, the lady reported it stolen when we had talked to her this morning and told her we were still using it and would bring it back once we were done, but before we’d be into a third day.
We just got off the phone with corporate and they confirmed that the rental period is 24hrs unless specified by the renter, and then, it’s at a cheaper rate. They are also going to look into it and try to remedy the situation because this is not how the company is supposed to be run. I shall let y’all know what the outcome is!
