Storage West Self Storage

I have not actually rented from them as of this review; the four stars are for Customer Service. Let me tell you my story. We are in the middle of renovation and had put all of the extra household items in the spare room as we were not getting any company until April… plenty of time to sort through it… my company called and surprise were coming in two days… as you can imagine what could I do. So I thought why not a storage for a couple of weeks. So I called around and let me just say wow… customer service was lacking. Now all of us live busy lives and some days it’s hard to care about our jobs and the customer we have to deal with on a daily basis, that being said you can at least be polite… so I called the Storage West call center in Arizona, not really expecting any real offer of a solution but to my surprise — actual customer service at its finest. I was quickly directed to my local area and the nice lady Jackie, referred the Spring Valley Company, and the contact there was also Jackie. Warm friendly, and helpful, this companies customer service was unexpected. She was more than willing to help me with my tight schedule and current situation. The prices were better than what I had already been quoted. If you find yourself in a situation that you need storage facilities give them a call.

I did a lot of research trying to find the perfect unit. At first I had a 5′ x 5′ right down the street from my place for which was up a couple floors, down some confusing maze-​like hallways, and then there was no light inside which is normal, BUT there was no light in the hall by my area either so I couldn’t see sufficiently. Also, they only had ONE dolly to use since the rest were stolen or something. I had the unit for a couple weeks & never even used it. THEN I found Storage West in Spring Valley… now I have a 8′ x 10′ drive up with a roll down door for about $ 30 a month cheaper than what I was paying at the other place! The only downfall is I have to drive a ways now, but that’s neither here nor there. Roger is the one I spoke with when I called & he was extremely helpful, then when I went to look at units a few days later he went above & beyond helping me find exactly what I needed. I haven’t started putting my things in yet… still packing, but the service alone is top notch & after driving around & viewing the facilities, I already know it’s great.

Michelle, Roger and Richard are all outstanding! I signed up for a 10×10 unit. The day before, I called Michelle, the Manager, to ask for a bigger unit. She was able to get one for me after she took the time to search her records for a vacancy. She even gave me her cell phone number to contact her directly in the event the office was closed when I moved in (the NEXT day, a Saturday!). I ended up packing like things should be packed. They have EVERYTHING you will need right there. I’m sure all of my belongings are shocked to finally be in quality boxes with quality padding/​cushioning. All of the people there have gone out of their way to make my storage experience as seamless as possible. They are also very sociable and make your stay there very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this facility for all of your storage needs. They have any size you could want. I plan on using them for all of my future storage needs. Once you find someone you like, you’ll go to any length to stay with them. They have earned my business. Let them earn yours.
