My son and I came here for our errands yesterday afternoon. While I was fueling up, he went in to buy a carton of cigarettes, but came back out to the car distraught. Telling me that Tracy(manager) can’t scan his photo ID(driver license nor the va card), so he couldn’t buy it, at which point I went in the store with him. Tracy saw me coming into the store with my distraught son and says to us, «scans not working and you cannot buy it for him.» I informed/asserted that we’ve been coming there for years and never encountered any problems like this before and why today she has to single him out when he was most vulnerable with his disability? I further informed her that we have store receipts on hand to prove that we’d come there often to buy cartons of cigarettes and that he was NEVER carded there, nor myself when I purchased for him or my husband. Matter of fact, I’d go up to the counter saying, «I’m a bad mom buying cigarettes for my son» and walked out with three cartons of cigarettes before at this RaceTrac. Tracy BLUNTLY and quickly asserted that we leave the store! On the way out I phoned the district supervisor and left him a voicemail because we’d experienced an undue trauma, embarrassment, hostility, disability and racism. I couldn’t believe we’re being harassed by this store manager. I want justice in seeing her fired.

In the age of WaWa I wasn’t super impressed with this RaceTrac. The bar has been raised. Nothing looked fresh or appetizing. but it’s a gas station convenience store. They did have some candy and gummies. So there’s that. You can’t get basic like eggs, milk and sour cream here. which might be nice for a quick crab and go in an area with country living.

To the«assumed» gay employee. Gurl, You need to tone it down. As a gay preceptor to your generation, expressing yourself feels good and I’m all for it… But I need to pull the«too gay» card. Your bad attitude towards gas pump issues and customer service of not holding the door for me and flipping your hair back in disgust when I call you on it is over the top annoying. Be fabulous, strut you heart out, but tone it down gurl. Don’t vent to the customers about how annoyed you are with customers. Check your flamboyant tone and body language and do your job. DOCUSTOMERSERVICE, no matter how much of a bad hair day your having. No need for all the drama play. Sincerely, You’ll appreciate this advice later down your yellow brick road, A Queen.

This location is great. The store is very clean and the staff is friendly. Despite the construction on Cortez Blvd(that seems never ending), this store remains very busy. The outside is also very clean and well maintained. As with any Race Trac location, the drink and food selection is fantastic.
