Heard a lot of good stuff about here but ordered delivery and everything was cold. It took an hour to get to my residence. Lack flavor. Maybe i would have a better experience dining in. Or take out.

This place is delish. I can’t comment on the authenticity of how they measure up to Philadelphia cheesesteaks because I’m a Florida Cracker. However, they deliver a pretty good distance. I was working in Hernando Beach at a salon and they totally trekked out there with our food. It was also really yummy. They are accommodating and will put whatever you want on your sandwich. I usually have pretty strange requests and put pickles on everything and they didn’t mind one bit. The food was still hot even after the trek out to Hernando Beach and the girl that brought the food was really nice. I definitely recommend giving them a try because the pricing is the bomb too. Totally worth it!

Why go to Philly, when you can have one of the best cheesesteaks you’ll ever taste. I went with the large with everything on it, which includes grilled onions, mushrooms, hot peppers, black olives & pickles. Also, got the extra meat & extra cheese option for $ 1.50. Let’s not forget to mention the fries. I don’t even like fries but these are fresh cut and you can’t beat a basket for a $ 1.50. Gino & Carl has nothing on Richie.

Richie continues to amaze me as to how good is food is and how great the staff is especially Richie I highly recommend and go there at least once a week if not more often

No imitations here!!! Authentic as being in Philly! Heavy serving of meat and cheese. No need to travel to Philly for a cheesesteak.

Let me tell you this is definitely got to be the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve had in awhile but man oh man that Cuban sandwich with fresh roasted pork and I think it had fresh sliced oven roast turkey on it holy cow! it was all very good we are definitely coming back.

Great cheesesteaks and really good fries — just wish I’d asked for vinegar (don’t know if they have it, but fries in a cup just taste better with vinegar).
Seating for 10 makes eating in a non-​possibility at lunchtime. Full of working-​man locals.
Be sure to check out the giant pickles and dessert menu, too.

We love Richie’s his sandwich’s are the best in town, always fresh bread, delicious meat, very cheesy with just the right amount of veggies just an amazing sandwich. Make sure you call ahead of when you want to eat they can get super busy with over an hour wait sometimes for lunch.

Best sandwiches in town, and their fries are amazing. Great staff. My wife loves the Philly and the Red Hot chicken sandwiches are the best things I have ever tasted. It is a must try, once you do you will come back over and over.

Fucking delicious doesn’t do it justice. If you’re looking for a great cheesesteak here’s where to come. Cheesesteak and cheesy gravy fries were fantastic!

Delicious phillies, definitely the best in town. This would be a five star review but there are a few things that need to be improved…
1. Wait time — Usually over an hour. Maybe get a second grill in there so the wait isn’t so long? It does deter us from ordering sometimes.
2. Price — It started as $ 5 cheesesteaks but now the cheapest is $ 7 and the large is $ 9. Hoping we don’t see the prices continue to rise or we will unfortunately have to find a new place.
3. Appetizers/​sides — I reaaaaally wish they would offer more of a selection when it comes to appetizers/​sides. We sometimes order jalapeño poppers and fried mushrooms from Westshore to pick up after we get out phillies from Richie’s… It would be nice if they had other options aside from fries there.
EDIT: Since posting my review, the prices have stayed high but the quality has declined. The phillies have been very salty the last few times we ordered and there’s been way less meat than there used to be. We used to order from here multiple times per month, but we’ve stopped because of all of the things listed.

The best aside of the actual Pat’s Cheesesteaks in Philadelphia yum! Richie himself is very nice and personable, he goes out of his way to make his customers happy. I will be back again without a doubt.

This place has it goin’ on! They not only make the best cheesesteak around here, but they deliver too! All of their sandwiches are made to order and the burgers are great as well! As long as the doors are open here I’ll be a loyal customer! Richie’s Cheesesteak is great!!! AAA+++

Had the Philly cheese stake was very good. The right amount of cheese and lots of meat, the onions and bell peppers are nicely cooked but do not overpower the sandwich. I definitely recommend it

Richie ’ s is def on my list of «Must Haves» when I return to the Tampa area again. In search of solid grub and I Unilocaled and stumbled upon Richie’s. Good burgers are hard to find in the area but a good cheese steak will do me just fine!
Richie’s is pushed back along side Cortez Blvd. It’s at a wierd location next to an accounting office. I was greeted by a friendly cashier who was helpful when ordered. I ordered a philly and fries combo. Basic cheese, onions, lettuce tomato and ketchup. It was made when ordered and the wait was about 15 minutes. Out comes this piping hot order of a fresh philly hoagie and the best fries I’ve had in a long time. Hand cut potatoes, salted just right and HOT. My daughter devoured those. The steak was slice nice and thin, however, it was a great grade of meat. The cheese so gooey and bread was not the best, but soft. I like mine a little crispy.
What’s Interesting about Richie’s is the plethora of toppings for your philly and fries! Like Gravy, mushrooms ETC. I’ll be back like Arnold next trip!

Richie’s is the real deal for the BEST cheese steaks and subs. Puts out the BEST cheese steak in the area. In. addition, subs made to order with Boar’s Head meats put all the chains to shame. The subs are stuffed (the large must have a ½ pound of meat) and will feed two. A must have is a cup of fries for $ 1.00 or the combo for $ 1.50 to include a can of soda. Bet you will consume the cup of fries prior to getting home or back to work.
At the end of the summer Richie’s remodeled and took over additional space next door and updated his equipment. In addition, now 8 or so bar type stools between the counter and the window if you eat on premise.
Even with the new triple flat top grill and additional prep area Richie’s still get backed up at lunch and dinner. Call ahead to order but you still will wait but definitely worth it for the BEST Cheese Steak on the west coast of Florida.
