Absolute worst place to eat, I am not talking about food, food was decent a bit overpriced. They ask for tip when you pay without having any service. Place is to small can’t ever find a seat. And worst of all owner berates and screams at staff in open kitchen for everyone to hear, cussing, screaming, completely embarrassing. Wouldn’t eat there again if you paid me to. Owner is complete garbage.

The food here is really fresh and yummy! I wish it was bigger, sometimes it’s hard to find a seat. The waitstaff also seams to be over whelmed the last two times I went. Even if they are grumpy the food is worth the trip.

Wiife and daughter had catfish tacos and brisket tacos, both delicious. I had the crabby patty which was quite good. The slaw was perfect and the waffle wedges were a unique addition to the meal. Many definite return visits are in order.

Catfish tacos were great. I’d like to come again. The brisket melt looked incredible. Hummingbird pie good but bananas not my thing. Jambalaya was good too.

This was easily the best meal I’ve ever eaten in Tennessee. The ingredients are local and the flavor combinations are original without being weird. My wife and I shared the avocado salad, pimento cheese, creole slaw, and hush puppy waffle. Her aunt had the catfish. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Everyone was happy. It’s hard to find vegetarian options in Spring Hill or Columbia, so Delta Bound deserves extra stars for their thoughtful meatless offerings. My only recommendation is that they add some beans to the menu: black eyed peas, pinto, red beans– I know they would be good here. Either way, I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Hands down best restaurant I’ve ever been too. Food is amazing. We were a fan of the food truck and there restaurant is just as good. Amazing food!!! Brisket is to die for. Need to bring back the French dip. Bbq sauce is outstanding and the pork belly taco… enough said.

Quite possibly the best restaurant in Spring Hill, at least the top for Cajun/Creole. This place is excellent, from the food to the family service. They just make you feel like family. The food oh Gawd the food. By far the best Gumbo and Jambalaya I’ve had in Spring Hill/Franklin/Nashville area. All of the food has multi-layered taste. It’s all worth chewing slow so you can really enjoy each bite. Go there, you’ll know what I’m talking about!!! Kudos for family run and locally sourced.

Comfy food. I am giving it 4 stars because I think is a medium over priced for the amount of food they served, plus the size of the restaurant. They need more high chairs too. Not for me. But for other families who went there asking for their babies chairs. I understand they are coming from a food truck environment, however if they want to grow, would need more facilities. 5 starts on the food though.

It was our first time visiting this place .at first glance it looks like just a hole in the wall restaurant. There are five or six tables inside and you place your order at the counter .the staff is extremely friendly and aims to please. The menu is items you might find in southern Louisiana such as jambalya, pulled pork and fried catfish. My wife and I share shared the fried catfish and the Cajun coleslaw and found it delicious. Found out that most everything is made on site or from locally sourced providers. even the chocolate chip cookies are made there. Whether you dine in or get your order to take it to go, like a lot of folks, this is a place you should not overlook. this is a place we’re going to be visiting again and, again and again. If you’re in Spring Hill and you pass this by, you missed something special.

I’m sorry I waited so long to try this place. Nice, rustic atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the brisket melt. It may be the best sandwich I have ever had. I will be back!

It was okay, not great, but I would go back. This is a place I want to like. I just hope they up there game a bit so that rather than being«good, you know, for Spring Hill» they are just stand-alone good. The Street Taco’s were good – I had the pork belly and the southern fried chicken – which were much better than the Catfish Po-Boy. The catfish po-boy was ok, but the catfish they serve is that large single piece fish that has a stronger muddy taste to it than I prefer.(I’m a thin-crispy catfish guy.) We also had the Cheesey Garlic Grits and they were good. There was some nonsense about the inability to email a receipt from the Square card reader. Not a big deal at all, but its the kind of thing that can make a difference in the experience and is the part of the package that should be addressed to up the game.

We had dinner there tonight, and wow– great food at a great price. The food was awesome. The catfish was crispy and slaw had just enough kick to it. My daughter had the pulled pork, which was tender and very flavorful. I had the brisket melt– brisket was tender, the sauce was tasty, and the fried banana peppers were just spicy enough. The real winner is the homemade white bread– thick and crispy. Stacey, one of the owners, took the time to come and talk to us, and make sure we enjoyed everything.

Hands down the best food I’ve had in Spring Hill/Thompson’s Station. Delicious, craveable and always fresh, the Southern-style, down-home dishes are cooked with love and served with a smile. Oh, and the price is right, too. A must-try for locals and travelers just passing through!

This was a very nice surprise in a small package. Not much seating and not a high profile place, but was a 4 – 5 star on taste. I didn’t give it a 5 because I waited 24 minutes after ordering to get our food, and we were the only ones who ordered in that time frame toward the end of closing. I had the Delta Fried Catfish that was very good with a jambalaya or something like that. I loved the sauce to go with it. It wasn’t a boring tarter sauce, and I like their spin on it. The hushpuppy waffles were a nice surprise and very good. I really wish they did fried okra here. My daughter’s fresh cut fries were very good and salted perfectly. I will definitely be back again to try other tasty items.

Wow — this place makes Spring Hill proud. Best southern food I’ve had in any town with friendly service and reasonable prices. I especially like that it’s locally owned and all food ingredients are sourced nearby. I got the catfish po’boy and cajun coleslaw; I may or may not have licked the plate clean. ;)

Yummo!!! We will definitely be back!!!(I am not one who normally posts about food, so please excuse wording). Barbecuban sandwich — incredible! Brisket — lots of my favorite ‘blackened’ pieces! Chicken tenders — loved the flavor of the batter used! Frozen fruit salad — once it thawed a bit, sweetly yummy! Corn something something(I can’t remember) — loved the combination of roasted corn in it! I also love the fact they get as much of their ingredients as possible from locals! … And lastly, the staff was super!!! Great with the kids, patient when we took forever to order, and checked on us just enough to see if we were doing ok!!!

This is just one of those wonderful surprises that you come across here on Unilocal.I was researching another restaurant, and a review mentioned this one. My wife and I visited it on date night. The food is just amazing! I had the catfish tacos, and they are not just the best catfish tacos I’ve ever had, but simply the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. The filets were crisp and tasty, and the relish topping the tacos was amazing. My wife had the smoked beef brisket sandwich. She fell in love with it. Our sides were just as good. The cheese grits were tasty, and the potato salad was fresh and tasty. Run, do not walk to Delta Bound! Do it today!
