The hotel is ok being an economical option. The hotel is clean as far as the staff. The front desk host was rude and sarcastic. The man was not nice at all. Obviously does not belong at the front desk. He could have made the stay enjoyable but clearly failed. Two stars is suitable for this hotel and don’t count on good customer service because you would not get it here.

Pleasantly surprised. Pros: Clean rooms. Desk service efficient and professional. Quiet environment. Room was on the inside row and nice landscaped courtyard and the swimming pool Cons: Continental breakfast very basic, no hot foods unless you count instant oatmeal. Old bulky tv.

Overall: Good value for the price. The room was clean, the shower worked well, and the bed was decently comfortable. The night staff guy was super friendly and polite. Things that will probably upset you if you’re really nitpicky and were expecting something like the Burj Al Arab despite the fact that you’re at a $ 45/night airport motel in eastern Washington: 1. The carpet was old. Not dirty(that I noticed, but I didn’t inspect it with a magnifying glass), just old. 2. The coffee at the continental breakfast was gross. The food was the same as every other hotel with a continental breakfast: bread, cereal, muffins. No caviar, omelets, or single origin fair trade espresso. 3. The sheets were not 1500 thread count imported Egyptian blah blah blah. They probably got them from walmart. But seriously, the room was clean and decently comfortable.

If I could figure out how to give this place ¼ of a star, that would be their rating. This place was disgusting. The water in the shower ran all night long, that was with the knobs turned all the way off. But the most disgusting part, there was no stopper in the sink and after my husband ran water in it, up out of the drain came a large amount of someone else’s hair. Wish I would read all the reviews before we checked in.

This place stinks! Literally it smelled like dirty feet. The carpet was filthy, the tub was dirty I wore flip flops to take a shower. The evening staff was rude and in the breakfast room the staff wiped the counter with a dirty rag and then handled the food with no gloves. Totally disgusting slum hotel. Do not stay here! Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It deserves –10 stars.

Terrible. First, the pillows were so bad we had to go into town and buy new ones… Don’t get me started on the dirty room. The table wasn’t clean, there was dirt on it and the bath tub had grime all over. The beds were horrid and the staff were RUDE. We had to stay for 2 nights– when we came back from our outing late the second day we realized that the maid didn’t clean our room! Beds weren’t made and we had no clean towels. The person at the front deal was so rude and when he finally gave us a towel, it was a hard pool towel. This is a seriously crummy hotel and I wish there wouldn’t have been a cancelation fee or I’d have left the first day. DONOTSTAYHERETHISPLACEDESERVES0 stars.

Moderately beat down but fine for $ 50. Didn’t wake up w bug bites or anything. Free wifi, coffee, breakfast was a startchstravaganza w cereal, instant oatmeal, doughnut holes and some boiled eggs. Motel 6 across the street is prob nicer but stayed here for wifi. Good luck out there!

What a nightmare! I came to Spokane to visit family for three days. I usually stay at one of the nicer hotels in the Spokane Valley – but they were all booked up due to a few(different) sporting events that weekend. So I decided I would check into the Econo lodge. What a joke! It was a run-down mess. The bath tub was disgusting, with mold and stains in it. The toilet was blocked up and still had feces in it from the previous lodger. The door to the room would not stay closed and I woke up at 3 am with the door flapping wide open. The heat in my room did not work, and it was below freezing that night. I ended up sleeping in a down jacket and two pair of socks. When I tried to report my concerns to the staff in the morning, the woman behind the desk was extremely rude and to just threw my paper work at me. I don’t recommend ANYONE stay there. My stay truly was a nightmare. Like another reviewer said, the Motel 6 across the street is not fancy, but the people are friendly and nice and the place is clean!

Gotta agree w everyone, dirty beat up joint. Motel 6 across the street is the same price and looks way nicer. Avoid this place. Not even worth one star.

Booked it through«Hotwire». I think one star is too generous. I don’t usually book anything under 4 stars but there website said it wasn’t rated yet. Over priced. Showed up to check-in, went into check out the room as I always do(it was OK), waked into the bathroom, looked at the bathtub(filthy), checked out the toilet(filthy), went backed to the office and checked out. The girl at the desk to her credit offered me another room, I thanked her and told her«no» and left.

Horrible… overpriced, run down, freezing ass cold-given it’s 5 degrees out the hotel cannot blame weather., Spokane is not a stranger to cold-the heater pumps out look warm air and the mirror in the room is 2 sizes too big and feels like your being watched. The drywall is coming down around baseboards. My friend wanted to try over motel 6… I think motel 6 might have been better.
