Really enjoyed it! The avatar bread with hummus, cabbage rolls, and kabobs were all great! Gyro was excellent. Was a nice change from the seafood/burgers and fried stuff that pretty much every place offers. My kids all asked could we go back again before we head home!

First coming in we were expecting some delicious Mediterranean. Looking at the prices 15 $ a plate we expected a lot of rice and good food. The meat was tough and chewy and not any flavor to the meat or rice. Very little rice not even a handful. Only things we enjoyed are the gyros. We told her about our experience but she said nothing and walked away. I wouldn’t recommend this place over others on the island.

This is by far the greatest best place I’ve been to on the island in a long time. Very very good, fresh as hell and excellent food choice as it leaves you feeling light. You must try the gyro it’s the best that I’ve had since my Europe trip several years back.

Great local place to get Mediterranean style food on SPI. The wine prices are very reasonable with nicely selected wines. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is good. It is a small restaurant and the services is fast and friendly. We have been coming here for a few years now and the food has been consistent. I love the gyro sandwich and my daughter is a big fan of the greek rice.

The food here is amazing! We ordered the babaghanouj, mafluf rolls, baklava and lady fingers. Everything was tasty and not greasy at all. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Food is surprising amazing in this place! We were looking for a restaurant that serve something other than sandwiches and burgers and here we come. The house bread is absolutely wonderful! We ordered one after we finished our sample plate. It’s well favored and the texture is just right! We ordered the lamb skewers, which favored well also, the vegetables tasted really good but the lamb is over cooked. The rice underneath is favored with curry, it’s not powering and it is just right again! We also order the grape leaves dish, which is very unique and tasty, but it’s just not my cup of tea. Overall, this restaurant is the best one I went to in my 3 days trip of SPI, the food is tasteful and I would recommend anyone to try this is you are coming to the island.

Good service and authentic food. So good to find something besides burgers, pizza, and seafood. The Lebanese plate was yummy.

There is not a ton of food options here in SPI, so when your looking for something a bit different, you can try this place. For Mediterranean food, this place was pretty decent. We started out with hummus and pita, it was okay. I had the gyro sandwich for dinner, it was pretty average. The service was very friendly and the prices are typical for this type of food.

We thankfully discovered Yalla Habibi whilst desperately looking for a good place to eat amongst what felt like very slim pickings! Unlike other places that we had eaten the menu was well balanced and you didn’t come out feeling like you’d eaten junk food… a huge plus in my opinion. We tried numerous different things from the menu on several different visits there. The food on each of the occasions was varied and tasted absolutely lovely. Even our young son was a fan of the food too for anyone out there with little ones, who are on the fence about trying it. The service in there was excellent too, the staff were always very pleasant and welcoming. The one thing I would say is that although this place is on the main road you can very easily miss it… we almost did! I hope the signage for this hidden gem is improved, as if you’re not familiar with the area you can easily miss it!

Bada Bing Bagels seems to be closed during the winter season, so I consulted with the handy Unilocal app to track down another suitable late breakfast spot. .. Mediterranean? Why yes, I think I will! The entire menu is available throughout the day, how about that! The boyfriend ordered the pancakes and eggs and I opted for the falafel sandwich and chips. I was super stoked because South Padre isn’t exactly a vegetarian’s paradise, not that I expected it to be. The sandwich is vegan by default — that’s what I’m talking about son! The boyfriend’s plate arrived first and the pancakes appeared to be the beautifully fluffy type and the scrambled eggs seemed pretty basic but decent. The server seemed concerned that he declined to order something else to bulk up his breakfast, but it, along with some coffee plus refill, adequately fueled him for a round of golf. I was quite excited that«chips» somehow translated into seasoned waffle fries — merry belated Xmas to me! The pita bread may have been store bought, but the ample four falafel balls very much pleased me. The slight addition of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions added a little friendly crunch, but I will say the sandwich did benefit from a few squirts of ketchup. Our server noticed me quickly depleting the ketchup packets and brought over more. I ended up packing up half the sandwich for a post-golf re-fuel(driving golf carts is a very intense task, didn’t you know?), still perfectly edible! Sure I’ve had tastier falafel in Houston and New Orleans(Mediterranean fare is surprisingly delicious there, trust!), but my mouth and stomach were happy to have feasted on something other than tamales(man, I overload on those suckers every Xmas!). I suspect the baked goods are not freshly re-stocked on a daily basis, but we didn’t sample any of them so can’t really comment on that.
