I usually go to CVS for my pharmacy/drugstore shopping but I stopped in here tonight just to take Passport Pictures. Very helpful and polite young lady by the photo kiosk areas. In and out in 15 minutes and it was pretty busy. The parking lot is small and fills up quickly.

Conveniently located on Rockaway Blvd near JFK airport and open 24 hours. Has everything from medication to beer to baby formula. This pharmacy is a bit pricy but saves me a long drive to anywhere else

Incompetent people!!! Told me they would have a prescription ready for me and when I get there they don’t know of anything! They asked me who I spoke to so I told them it was a woman. No one would fess up. They get my medication ready for me and then they have the audacity to tell me next time get the name of the person. Why must I??? Because this happens often? Are they that incompetent most of the time? I guess so. Front store they said they would have an item ready also. Come in 2 hours. They say they don’t have it either!!! This whole store sucks. Front and pharmacy! No wonder they have 2 and a half stars! STAYAWAY! Incompetent workers and liars!

This Walgreens can be messy at times… But hey… Love that there’re open 24 hours. The staff working are helpful. Just wished that they ordered more supplies when needed. Hate to see when they run out of supplies on their shelves and don’t restock.

Just like all chain stores you hope to find that one that may be different. Nope it is mos def not this one. Dont bother looking at the sale price – 98% of the time its wrong. The other 2% is because the store is so disorganized that things usually not where they are supposed to be. Parking? Oh goodness. Leave your car at home and just walk. It is such a mess and there is always that douche bag that either takes up 2 spots or the prick that doesnt know how to back out of a space and is willing and able to bump your car just to get out. Staff? Forget it. You are better off just walking around and grabbing crap that you dont need in order to hopefully find what you were originally looking for. Pharmacy? Thank god i dont live near this location anymore – you better hope you dont get sick. So with all this ranting why did i even bother to give one star? They are open 24 hrs.

This Walgreens, 9.9 out of 10 times never has what you’re looking for. This has been the case since… FOREVER. You could be dying in an aisle before an employee acknowledges you… If you’re even that lucky. I use this place as my ultimate last resort, like tonight. I just visited the pharmacy for the first time. To my surprise(and I’m being sarcastic), the inadequacy of the employees behind the counter at the pharmacy are very well aligned with the ones in the front of the store. A young man by the name of Anil finished up a transaction for a fellow employee, who he told«I’ll help this one customer and then I’ll go.» As if I can’t hear him. He begins my transaction and when he confirms he wasn’t the associate who helped me over the phone, he decided to hand me off to someone else so that he could leave. I’m sorry to inconvenience you, after you decided halfway that you didn’t want to help me anymore. The second gentleman was kind and helpful. After fulfilling my prescription, I am exiting the store and low and behold is the same guy leisurely hanging around the cash register with the employee he assisted before me. So much for an emergency on his end. Walgreens needs to upgrade their merchandise availability, and offer coaching to their associates. Perhaps they should reconsider screening during their hiring process and eliminate the teeny boppers with no clue as to what customer service is truly about. The only thing this place has going for it is the fact that it’s 24 hours, which is a hit or miss depending on what you’re looking for because there is a greater possibility that they wouldn’t have it anyway. Oh and before I forget, I once visited here looking for a specific item, to find out that they had boxes laying around to restock their shelves. I came back in a few days, and the boxes were STILLTHERE. And weeks later, still there!!! Newsflash Walgreens… Items can’t sell themselves from the inside of an unopened carton. Thanks.

This establishment has greatly improved over the past couple of years. They have a wide variety of products and good sales, if your know about them in a timely manner because the products go off the shelf pretty quick when on sale. It is expensive but it is a franchise. The parking lot is terrible because its so small and its bumper to bumper when parking in the lot, but I live walking distance.

I’ve shopped at this Walgreens for more than 10 yrs now and lets cut to the chase this location is terrible. Never any help to be found, no parking, always out of stock. Don’t even bother to call because you’ll probably see pigs fly before you get help on the phone. If you are going to the pharmacy bring some reading material and be prepared to wait. I think I grew a gray hair once waiting to be helped. The employees don’t even want to be there themselves. There are two employees that I have come across who have been extremely helpful and efficient. When I find out their names I will make it my duty to update this review. So why after 10 years am I writing a review you ask? Well I just went to the pharmacy to pick my prescription up and this is about the 100000000th time I’ve encountered a problem getting my prescription. I am SICK of it. The girl working the counter tells me that my prescription has yet to be filled and I have to wait 5mins. Why should I have to wait 5mins for a prescription that I put in an order to be filled?! I take a deep breath and I tell her I will wait. 10mins later she tells me she filled the wrong prescription AFTER I TOLDHERMYNAME3TIMES! She then proceeded to talk about me with other customers like it’s my fault. Of course I had to wait because if I come back I’ll have to deal with the same thing again. The ONLY reason why I put up with this shit is because it’s 30 secs away from my house. I really go there every time hoping I will get better service. A girl can dream can’t she???

I’m giving this Walgreens 4 stars because it’s incredibly clean & stocked to the gills but not with the one product line I ran in to get this morning-Burt’s Bees Chapstick. I was devastated! The manager went & checked in the back for me but they don’t carry any Burt’s Bees products whatsoever any longer because no one was buying it at this location. I guess the people who live in the area & frequent this location are not aware of the amazing product line. Oh well. I picked up a Blistex Chapstick because I’m willing try anything today against the 24 degree day in NYC against my hurting lips. I hate the winter! I also picked up really awesome earbuds with a built in mic that will work with any smartphone, mp3 or musical device. I am awarding it to my student today who has turned around his behavior towards me & answered a fairly difficult question yesterday about a literary element in regards to the book we are reading. For $ 7.99 I’m willing to try anything to build a sting bond with this young man. I also purchased a few boxes of candy canes for $.99 each for next week to pass out. Overall, a good stop here at this location since the Walgreens & various drug stores are definitely closed by me at 6:15am.

There is never any parking, no matter what time of night or day it is. There is always an extremely long line for the pharmacy department, like c’mon now, can’t anyone streamline the process? Also, do not shop here without a walgreens card, alot of things are on sale and you would never know. It takes a few minutes and you save alot of $$.

OMGosh. These are one of the places where I reccomend shooting yourself in the foot before even thinking of coming to this store. One of THE worst Walgreens around. Notthing is ever in stock when I go, nor is anything in its proper place. You ask staff for help, you get half ass answers, and just give up before you even bother coming here! Parking is harder than finding a parking spot on the 15 floor of the Empire State building, it’s IMPOSSIBLE!, and if you do get one… good luck leaving!!! People box your car in and just leave it there, and then you are the ass hole for wanting to leave that god forsaken place! Handicapped spots… everyone parks there without any issues, and for people like me, who are eligible to park there… we have to walk… in pain! And complaining about people parking in the handicap spots? Save your breath, the could care less! Employees there, clearly hate working there, and by default hate you, so just stay clear of this one!
