Parking Garage At Heavenly Village

We didn’t have any problems. And the movie theatre validates for three hours. Better than illegally parking in the grocery parking across the street! :)

We were TRAPPED in here for an HOUR!
Machine ate our ticket and wouldn’t let us out. Meanwhile the other exit, wouldn’t let that car out either…
The cops arrived to help us and 5 other cars… And then… After the officers code didn’t work to raise the gate, the officer was forced to break it. It was the only option left.

Awkward layout. As soon as you drive in, you end up going on a short ramp down to directly where the elevators are — and where everyone feels the need to drop off their SUV full of children so they don’t have to walk (God forbid).
We had our parking validated, which gave us a free hour. We were there for an hour and five minutes (which would have been more like forty five minutes had we not had to wait for the touries to unload their fat offspring). So we had to bust out the debit card to pay *drum roll please* … 20 cents.
Automated gates are fine when they work, but we sat at the gate for almost five minutes AFTER we paid trying to rouse someone on the intercom that could raise the arm for us, as it had decided not to raise on it’s own (dunno. Maybe it was called in on its day off). Five minutes isn’t generally a terribly long time, but when you have a hungry, wailing toddler in the back seat it is an ETERNITY.
Unless the weather is absolutely wretched, we park at the casinos and hoof it. Better the walk than the irritation that comes with navigating this beast.
