At the end of a winding gravel road we discovered this fabulous winery surrounded by trees and vines with the most friendly and knowledgeable staf we’ve encountered all day. Susan was a true gem who obviously loves what she does, explaining each wine like they were her children! Enjoyed tasting a variety of Michigan wines from dry to sweet each one with its own attributes. We will definitely be back!

A very nice vineyard to visit. The selection are outstanding. A great new facility with a gorgeous bar. Handmade from wood from their property. A must see for locals or vacationers. The on staff dog see you to the door and inside.

A great stop along the Michigan wine trail :) 5 tastings for $ 3 or try them all for $ 6! Friendly and very accommodating staff :) Relatively new winery, with a nice covered patio with lovely views!

This place is amazing. Next time I am in Michigan… I am coming here. I would have loved to spend more time here. I wish there was something like this place in Illinois. You can sit inside or outside among the vineyards. They have wine tastings and wine by the bottle. The staff was so friendly. The wines were delicious. I was happy they had so many dry and heavier wines. Most Michigan wineries seem to be about the sweet fruits. This place pleasantly surprised me.

Cogdal Vineyards was a great stop on our wine tour last weekend! I am so glad I stumbled upon this new winery while doing some research online. We made a reservation for a group of 10 and received a warm welcome when arriving. We had a private tasting area set up in the room where all the production occurs — it was really neat to see the back of house! The owner gave our tasting and provided lots of insight on her and her husbands journey to be winery owner/operators. The wine was great during the tasting and we stayed for a bit longer to enjoy a glass of wine on their patio overlooking their beautiful vineyards. Will definitely be back!

Loved our day here! We had a group of 8 and when we arrived and they had set up an entire table for us. The fireplace sitting area was so nice and we stayed awhile. It has a very warm, homey feel and the owners were very accomodating. Their gifts are reasonably priced too. They have a good variety of wines — white and red, dry and sweet. Will definitely be back!!!

very new winery and thats perhaps why we have not seen too much about it. one of the better tasting experiences my wife and I have had though. its a family owned winery and it shows. very clean and well maintained. 8 tastings for the money was well worth it. the pourer was very knowledgeable about each kind of wine and told us a lot of the backgound history of the family and how it all came about. … she even took us to a back room to show us the new batch of riesling that was being readied for some bottling… all in all if you are in the area you should make it a destination to stop for
