The food is tasty though the crust is a little too thin for my taste but it does taste good. It’s actually the practically unlimited toppings and the create your own pie that would keep me coming back here… This is still a relatively new joint, so it struck me as strange to see their soft drink area looking so shabby and depleted… and a really bad selection. I’m not saying that they turn the drink section into some kind of Am/Pm extravaganza but yeah something better would be welcome. The service is helpful and friendly and those pizzas do pop out of that oven pretty quick. Would come back again.

Love it! I don’t usually eat pizza but we took the kids to try this place out. They loved it! its a little pricy but worth it since for the first time they finished a whole pizza in one sitting.

Definitely a good pizza. Depending on how hungry you are you can either order your own or share with someone. All the ingredients were really fresh with great flavor. I’m giving it 4 because yeah it’s a good pizza but not so much better than regular stuff crust pizza I’ve had at Pizza Hut. I would go back just to try the different things, wish they had a bigger beer selection but good spot

Every time I come here, I build my own pizza. Various options with unlimited toppings. I never disappoint with my creation. Reasonable prices as well. Good stuff, man.

Sandwiches have Subway. Burritos have Chipotle. Can you see where this is going? What does pizza have then? Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza. Hope you can put together where I was going with that! Just another one of the great eateries that the Azalea shopping center in South Gate has to offer, Blaze Pizza is your go to spot where you can customize your own pizza. You can either make your own or choose from the many different kinds they have here. The pizza is a personal size, with about 8 small slices to enjoy. On this day however, I had decided to eat here before going to work. I had heard so much buzz about this place, so I then had to try it for myself. Wow! I opted for the Art Lovers pizza which has artichokes, mozzarella cheese, red sauce dollops and pepperonis. I believe the pepperonis are put upon request. For drinks, I had their blood orange lemonade, which was a bit tangy for me, but finished it nonetheless. The time for the pizza to be ready was about 10 minutes. Service was quick and efficient. I was able to enjoy my meal in peace. There is a vast amount of seating here. The best part is this is some of the healthiest choices to eat around here!

If the manager is there the service is fast and friendly. If the manager is not there the workers hide in the back and the line is out the door. Some of the workers have a bad attitude. Not cool if you don’t want to work don’t be there simple as that. The pizzas are good at a good price. Just a note make sure you go when a manager is on duty.

For as busy as this Blaze stays, they keep it fairly clean. And it’s always busy! My favorite thing about Blaze is I can add unlimited toppings for $ 7.95. It always fills me up & sometimes I have a couple of pieces leftover. I recommend the white top pizza with chicken & artichoke added. My husband loves the spicy red sauce with pepperoni & sometimes jalapeños. Recently I decided to try online ordering. I dig it. You just schedule it to pick up at your leisure. Pre-pay with plastic. If you do this, just know that they prep your pizza then put it on a rack until you show up. Don’t get in the(usual) long line to build your pizza. Instead, hop in line behind the register that has the«online order check-in» sign. Then they put your custom-built thin crust pie in the blazing hot oven. It doesn’t take long to bake… 180 seconds, according to their company profile. The employees are nice here. They hustle too. The two main reasons I dislike this location: 1) it is always pretty stuffy inside(compared to other Blazes) and 2) the parking lot is so crammed. Blaze in South Gate is located in a shopping center on the northwest corner of Firestone Blvd & Atlantic Ave. The former I can deal with since you can just ask for a box to go.(Remember to recycle it!) But the latter… That parking lot seems like it was painted for compact cars only. Smh. At least it is free parking. Review #380 Unilocal challenge 201561⁄100

You create your own pizza or order one of their specialty pizzas. I ordered the Green Stripe. I liked it even though it was a bit greasy. Next time I’ll skip out on the marinara sauce and let the pesto do it’s job. I’d come back. Cool spot. Good service.

Love this place. Staff is super nice and make you feel welcomed. And for $ 7.99 plus tax for a build your own pizza it’s a great values.

I had this place bookmarked for months since a lot of people raved about it. Not impressed, pizzas we’re ok not too many ingredients to choose they also didn’t have different flavored crusts. I still haven’t tried Pieology but I tried Pizza Studio and I prefer that over this one when it comes to the unlimited toppings trend. Crusts a little burnt but I’m impressed w/the high ratings here… Especially if there are a lot of pizza aficionados like myself.

It’s one of my favorite pizza joint nowadays. It’s like subway turned into pizza place where you can customize your pizza. They don’t charge extra for every single topping but you pay set amount of $ 7 to customize your pizza anyway you want. You can choose various different toppings they offer and some of those are quite exquisite. Neat about this place is that they make your pizza right away from the brick oven. Once you place your order, waiting time is around 5 minutes and you can enjoy your fresh out of oven pizza right away. You also have to try their smores cookie which they put right in front of the brink oven to warm it up for you. It’s quite a treat. I have to admit that I really don’t like LeBron but I like what he’s done to his pizza place.

There are only a few things in life that I hold very dear to me. My wife, my children, and pizza. I am a self proclaimed pizza connoisseur. I have been to almost all pizza places worth trying. I have heard of Blaze before and thought that it will be just another Pie-O-Logy rip off. So when this place opened up just a few minutes I had to try it. So they have a few extra items that the other places do not have but there was one item that I had to have. ROASTEDGARLIC. I ordered my usual, extra sauce, pepperoni, canadian bacon, mushrooms, fresh garlic, and I loaded up on the roasted garlic. I always get the pizza well done because I like it crispy. Sauce was great and so was everything else. The roasted garlic adds a whole new element of flavor that I crave for regularly. In the war of DIY pizza chains, BLAZE is winning the war in my opinion.

This area of Atlantic and Firestone has been transformed into a very happening place. Blaze pizza is located smack near the intersection My usual order is a make your own pizza with 2 scoops spicy red sauce, all the meat toppings, bell pepper, onion, 2 handfuls jalapeño, extra time in the oven and top it with pesto. Pros: 1) Very friendly employees. They know what they are doing. 2) Fast moving line. 3) Abundant parking Cons: None. I love me some Blaze pizza.

Decent pizza. Encountered one staff member who seemed flummoxed by the idea that we didn’t understand how Blaze Pizza worked, even though we told her we had never been before(hey – not every Build-Your-Own Pizza place is the same, you know!) She looked liked she didn’t want to be there. Encountered the next staff member, who was as pleasant as the last person was unpleasant. He loaded on the toppings(and proceeded to make fun of me when I asked him for extra pepperoni on top of pepperoni), and rang me up like a boss. Pizza came out hot and delicious, but not so terribly hot to the point where my tongue gets burnt and icky. The sauce was a little bit watery which was a disappointment – I was hoping for that thick, tomato-ey paste. Toppings sort of fell all over the place but I suppose this is avoidable by using fork and knife. Overall, this isn’t my favorite pizza place, but I’d be willing to come back as well as try the other locations that seem to be popping up all over the place. Whoop whoop!

AMAZING! What a wonderful experience. I loved this idea of making your own pizza subway style so much that I have taken my family, and everyone has been super satisfied. The service is great, everyone has such a positive attitude and the place is very clean and has the perfect vibe. Perfect and safe for families, and cool and fun for a hng out with friends. Their pesto is the best and the BBQ sauce is super tasty. Also, their blood orange lemonade ISTODIEFOR! Super satisfied customer here :)

Subway style pizza! Always a great concept for any food place… I love that you can get as many toppings as you want for one price. There are many different combinations to try. You can take ideas from or alter their signature pizzas. I choose all the veggies I want and like to get red sauce dollops(Art Lover Pizza) on top, finished with a pesto drizzle(just basil & olive oil, no parmesan cheese like pesto usually has). The end product looks like a real piece of art that is mighty tasty! For $ 2 extra, you can get vegan cheese or a gluten free crust. Customer service was great. This is located in a plaza that is fairly new. There is ample parking. Tip: The crust is ultra thin so it’s best to have it right then and there and all at once. I couldn’t finish my pizza and with all that good sh*t I put on there, it was already starting to get soggy within 20 minutes. So be sure to split with someone or come very hungry.

Thin crust pizza in a Subway setup. This is pretty decent pizza done quickly(cooks in 3 minutes in their oven). They have plenty of great toppings that you won’t find at Pizza Hut– they even have vegan cheese! It’s great that I can grab a pizza with my vegan gf so close to home. Heads up-the parking lot is huge but the spaces are tight. Their s’mores suck, skip that.
