Bad service — messed up the order and acted annoyed that they had to fix it. Also, they said they ran out of small cups and would not give any allowance. Had to buy large drink or none. Lastly, in my opinion, the chow mein was crap.

You’d think that every single Panda Express has the same menu and the same items, but apparently it doesn’t! After our movie, we decided to go to Panda Express for lunch. We’re in line and we asked for the tofu and eggplant but they don’t carry it. I guess this isn’t a big tofu and eggplant place but they didn’t really have any great substitutions for vegetarian options. They had the steamed veggies, which tasted bland. There was also the rice and noodles but that’s it. This was during Thanksgiving week so we happened to be there during the rain. One of the windows had a leak and there was a puddle of water in the middle of the floor. You can see the water seeping from the window. It does have a tv against the wall. The service was fine. They smiled and were cheery but the overall feeling wasn’t great.

I’ve tried this place four times since they’ve opened. Not one time has my order been correct. Last time the orange chicken had so much vinegar in it, it was not edible. They are slow, they don’t have a good food selection even in advance of dinner time, when you order online it’s never ready when you get there and the place is dirty. Save your money, save your time!

As far as fast food chains go, one can do worse. The staff at this location was friendly and the place was clean. Like all Panda Expresses, it is best to go during peak times to avoid eating food that has been sitting around for longer than it should. There is nothing worse than digging in to some orange chicken to find a few cool, rubbery pieces hidden among hot and fresh ones. Kudos to the individual lid dispenser. I have never seen one like that before in a fast food joint, it does seem to eliminate a bit of waste.

You have to go when it is busy And Michelle is working. I go all the time and it’s delicious. But when she is not there the food stinks

On 7÷17÷2015 I had my last very poor quality dining experience at Panda Express in Sonora, Ca. It’s always been so frustrating waiting in line to pay while your food is getting cold on the paper plate. This trip I had ordered Kung Pow Chicken & had just sat down when there was a commotion in the ordering line. A handicapped lady was yelling that the Kung Pow Chicken sample was too hot. I remembered thinking to myself that I had never had something at Panda Express that was too hot! It’s always very mild & I like hot food. This poor lady was in such distress that the cashier got her some water, which didn’t seem to help the lady. I thought this lady must have never had any spicy food before. I started eating my food & the Kung Pow Chicken was the second item I ate. WOW! It was like a fire bomb went off in my mouth. It burned so bad that I was having a hard time breathing. I was really in destress & was having a hard time even thinking of what to do. I finally jumped up & got a cup of ice & left the restaurant and my full lunch on the table and ran to my car to recover in private without other patrons staring at me. It took over a hour for my mouth to stop burning & throbbing. Panda Express is a good idea gone bad.

I loves me some Panda… anywhere except this location. It’s more of a Pandont. Dropped in at 7:30pm midweek. Ordered the usual 2 entrée. Waited for mixed veggies to be cooked while my orange chicken and chow mein got cold sitting n the foam. Which, btw, was actually mildly amusing because another patron was waiting on orange chicken to be cooked that — you guessed it — came up at the same time as my mixed veggies. So one might think — if one truly engages in thought — that the now cold in the foam orange chicken might be replaced by the fresh, eh? But instead, the three 17 year old heathers working the line had far more important things to discuss that seemed, curiously enough, to start and end with ‘OMG’!!(emphasis mine) So for $ 7.34 I received: 1. Cold chow mein 2. Cold orange chicken 3. Hot mixed veggies* *which were at least ¾ less portion than Waiting on Orange Chicken Man next to me in line received so I’m assuming he’ll be not so happy panda day with ¾ less orange chicken? Uh… prob not. 4. Inconsistent customer service. Bad Panda. Bad.

Not very good. It was warm food. Had to add soy sauce and hot mustard to get any flavor at all. I had not eaten at a panda before… now I know why. Go get a sandwich from Safeway. Tastes better, faster and cheaper.

The food is the usual panda fair, but they are always out of everything. Not fast food, not even quick food. Waiting 20 minutes for food is ridiculous. Whole table of people waiting for orders to be completed. This is the only location we’ve been to where this seems to be a problem.

Good grief. I eat a diabetic diet to keep from becoming a diabetic because sugar has killed every one I love who is dead… sugar is deadly. It’s killing more people than cigarettes now. It’s taken a lot of people from me including my daughter just last May. So I KNOW sugar kills people. And Panda express in their health-conscious ignorance has stopped carrying any artificial sweeteners. You ever know anyone killed by splenda? Nope. Neither does anyone else. They still carry diet pepsi. Yuck. And half the foods are full of sugar. So… I’m done. Stick a fork in me I am done with Panda Express.

Good food, slow service and a new team working out the bugs. Good reputation from other cities, room for improvement locally.

Wow, this is possibly the busiest fast food place I’ve ever seen! It’s just Panda people! You’d think this is the only Chinese place in town, but there are many(I can think of at least 5, not all good, but still). It’s pretty much exactly the same as every other Panda express I’ve been to, except as another review mentioned since they are so freakishly busy at least the food stays fresh. I drive by often, and sometimes the line is out the door! We went in one time because we didn’t see the line out the door, but as soon as we walked in we realized if we stood in line then it would be. Only once have we been in and actually gotten through the whole ordering and eating process. Sorry, but I’m just not prepared to wait in line for Panda friggin’ Express. Why do I get the feeling we will be seeing some other Chinese places in town going out of business now?

This Panda Express location just opened in Sonora, California. Very similar to Panda locations in the valley, with the exception of very modern décor including flat screen TV sets(one just has non-stop Panda Express ads) and modified seating. I had vegetable fried rice and vegetable chow mein this visit, total with a small drink was $ 7.13. My meal was served very hot and definitely fresh. The line of hungry customers ready to order extends out the door at 11:30AM. Already, it’s busy! That kind of crowd makes sure the food under the heat lamps is fresh. The employees are all very friendly. The parking lot spaces on the south side of the building are extra wide, you might need it after eating too much!
