We hired Kashaya for our wedding rehearsal at Hudson Street Winery in Healdsburg and had a wonderful experience! She came highly recommended from the venue and did not disappoint! The pizza was PHENOMENAL, and Kashaya and her staff were a delight to work with– from start to finish. Our guests raved about the creative pizza, salads and scrumptious dessert! Such a fun and memorable rehearsal dinner– we would hire her again in a heart beat!

I attended a rehearsal dinner which Kashaya catered and I have to say it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! What was the most fun was… The whole crew was smiling and friendly. They just pumped out so many kinds of pizza and it was great fun choosing each slice.

We had a group of 45 people at the Veteran’s Park Bocce Ball park. This was the perfect food compliment to our bocce event. Kashaya was professional and had a perfect set-up for our group to grab pizza on the go in between bocce games. She thought of every detail with plates, condiments and great beverages. We heard from many people in our group that this was the best pizza they’ve ever had. From vegetarian’s to gluten-sensitive to regular eaters, she catered to all. I would definitely hire Kashaya for another event in the future!

Kashaya catered a Friday Night Pizza Party at our wedding weekend. The whole thing was so perfect. She and her staff were so friendly, accommodating(there were gluten-free options, vegan options, gluten&dairy-free options), and most importantly the pizza and salads were absolutely DELICIOUS! We could not have asked for a better caterer and set-up! Thanks, Kashaya.

Kashaya’s pizzas rock! We hired her for our wedding a whole year ago. Shame on me for not writing a review until now. She was prompt and brought sufficient staff and most importantly her pizzas are badass, made in a real wood fired oven. She has many different flavor options available. Unless things have changed, she is at the Occidental Farmer’s Market and other Farmer’s markets, plus she caters private parties. Thanks Kashaya for making our special day … special and yummy!

Our amazing wedding coordinator arranged for Kashaya to cater our rehearsal dinner in a vineyard for 60 people. It was so perfect! The pizza was ridiculously fresh, and blew the local restaurants out of the water. Any worry we might have had was immediately laid to rest. Kashaya arrived early to set up and brought enough staff to prevent any crowds or lines, and her staff was friendly and laid-back the entire time. Kashaya was completely accommodating of food restrictions with gluten-free crusts and her delicious vegan and vegetarian ingredients. She encouraged our guests to request their favorite ingredients, and the combinations she made on her own were lovely — people were raving about the artisan pizza, and it was perfect for our picturesque outdoor setting. It was a very informal yet elegant set-up. Our coordinator also arranged in advance for Kashaya to provide brownies and fruit for dessert, and they were wonderful as well. The fruits went above and beyond your standard melon mix, and the brownies were rich. We are so happy with our rehearsal dinner! We wouldn’t change a single thing.

First of all, Kashaya’s no longer frequents the Sonoma Plaza Farmer’s Market. Currently they only serve the Occidental Farmer’s Market on Fridays. My rating is based on my personal preference for pizza, and I do not mean to degrade or differ with the other reviewers who thought highly of this product. It is simply my taste preference. To me pizza is bread. The toppings are secondary. Lately, there seems to be a race to see who can produced the thinest pizza on record. This is fine as long as the damn thing actually bakes. But, too frequently the dough does not bake and does not become crisp because it absorbs the grease from the cheese and remains wet. If you’re interested only in the cheese or other toppings, this evidently is not a problem. But it is a problem for me.

We used Kashaya for a graduation party for our daughter. The pizza was excellent and everyone enjoyed watching the pizzas be made in the oven. Fantastic pizza and really nice people, very nice to work with.

I first found out about Kashaya at my girlfriend’s friend’s wedding reception, where Kashaya rolled up with her handy-dandy trailer and started producing the most insanely delicious pizzas of my life. A little context here: I am a computer programmer. You might not think that relevant, but people worldwide seem to have the impression that programmers prize pizza above all else, even shitty pizza, so at pretty much every nerd event I’ve been at, they will shove pizza at you to show you that they have a deep understanding of your culture. [sigh] I’ve probably had north of 500 pizzas in my life. And not one can compare to the gooey, flakey, moist, chewy, rich, and surprising flavors you will find atop Kashaya’s pizza. None. It is really a religious experience, a redefinition of something you thought you knew well, like eating a carrot at the French Laundry and bursting into tears because you realize that before that bite you had never tasted a true carrot in your life. So when I took over a hostel for my 32nd birthday, there was one obvious choice: Kashaya. She arrived a bit later than we expected, and it was pouring rain, and it took a good hour to get the oven up to Pizza Blasting Temperature… but once the factory was chugging out pizzas, out they came, steady as clockwork, one mind-blowing gourmet pizza per ninety seconds. At one point early on in the blitz one of the partygoers looked skeptically at Kashaya’s supplies. «How many pizzas can you make?» Kashaya paused, turned, and stared my friend in the eye, with a twinkle in her eye. «I WILLWIN.» And win she did, in so many ways. Two hours later we had fed not only everybody in our party, but the entire staff and visiting crew at the hostel as well. For good measure, Kashaya left us with TWENTYLEFTOVERPIZZAS for a midnight snack. My Word. This is not food, this is an experience. Prepare to be blasted with amazing, amazing, amazing pizza. Call her. Call her now.

Kashaya and her crew catered pizzas at our wedding too, in Oct ’09. They were an awesome group. They were really nice and accommodating, driving the hot oven over Hwy 17 into Santa Cruz to our backyard wedding. They took request for topping combos ahead of time from us, plus from the guests on the spot. They fed kids, teens, adults and grandparents, vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers! Everyone loved the vibe they brought, but especially how tasty the pizzas were. We try to find Kashaya’s stand at Farmer’s markets and events in Sonoma County as often as we can get up there. They still continue to put out great pizzas with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Kashaya and her crew made pizza for my wedding last August and it was a huge hit. They were so easy to work with, drove all the way down to Los Gatos, gave us a very fair price, and made pizza that was SOYUMMY. I only wish I had been able to spend more time eating pizza, but I was a little busy.

Kashaya has a mobile wood burning oven on a trailer hitch that she drags around behind her pick-up truck. She sets up, fires up the oven. Starts rolling out her hand made dough and proceeds to make savory & dessert pizzas. Check her out ot the Sonoma Plaza farmer’s markets booth on Tuesday Evenings and Friday mornings. Click on the photos I attached to this page. Oooo! Sweet vanilla custard and fresh berry Pizza!
