This winery was amazing! I love sweet wines and they actually have a large variety of them! The people working there were very nice and welcoming. The wine was so good that I joined their wince club, which is very affordable! I also bought a garlic infused olive oil that was delicious! I’m not usually really in to olive oil, but it was really good! We are going to go back again today!

My mom and I stopped here for a wine tasting. Lovely place, great wine and the two ladies were so friendly, knowledgeable and warm. Dog friendly too! :) will definitely be back next time. Even grabbed a couple bottles to take home because it was so good.

We became members after just one visit/​tasting at this winery. They have a lot of sweet wines that pair very well with the chocolates (which are so amazing too). I would highly recommend doing the wine/​chocolate pairing. All their wines were delicious but our two favorites were the Rose and the Niagara.
Maura, one of the managers, poured for us and was so polite and generous (another reason we decided to join). Members also get complimentary tasting for up to six (6) guests! Not the normal 1 or 2 like most wineries). I would highly recommend this winery.

If you’re not framiliar with the Tripleberry OMG you’ve got to try it, I’m sorry I only bought 1 bottle (shame on me). I was told they will began selling it again this summer and I’m sure I will buy several cases! Taste it and I’m sure you’ll be back for more… YUMM!!!

Loved this place! Forgot the lady that helped us name but she was fantastic. I loved that they had a choice between sweet or dry wine tasting. Perfect for me who loves the dessert wines and my man that loves the dry.
They had such an excellent selection of dessert/​sweet wines that I actually joined their club! And I’m really happy about what their club membership offers.
Thank you so much for the awesome experience and we will be back for sure!

My mom, sister, and my myself stopped in Solvang to check out the shops and whatnot (Saturday March 28, 2915). We didn’t realized there would be wine tasting here. We got this place up and noticed that they will do chocolate pairings for your wine tasting. Awesome!
The lady was very nice and allowed me to taste one without getting a whole tasting (I’m the DD and just wanted 1 sip). After the ladies did each tasting I ate the chocolate for them ;)
PROS:
–cute little place
–great staff
–tasty wines
–staff helpful with questions
–get to taste 5 wines
–good variety to go with chocolates
CONS:
–pricing was a bit higher than expected when combined with wine
–only 4 chocolates but you choose 5 wines to taste

Very Happy:)
I brought my social group from San Diego up for a wine tasting tour. Royal Oaks was awesome. The host were amazing and the wine selection was just as amazing. They are very detailed oriented. The wine tasting room was beautiful and comfortable. You must try the Blueberry wine. It was my favorite. When you visit, tell Kathy Fred sent you.

Very nice. Delicious wine. Lorraine helped us and was very knowledgable and hospitable. We had two dogs with us and they let us sit on the patio which has a great atmosphere and is very comfortable. I only give four stars just because she couldn’t tell me 100% for sure if the wines were vegan.

My gf came here yesterday and while I don’t drink, we both had such a nice time mostly because of the company and great conversation from the nice lady working there whose name escapes me at the current moment. She was great to talk to and had such a warm personality.

Delicious sweet wines from Salem Oregon. If the lady serving us was friendlier it would of been a better experience. We were the only ones in the place. They also have chocolate for sale.

I LOVE coming here to visit with my dear friend, Lorraine! I first met her many years ago at Roblar and she is now pouring over here. Definitely be sure to stop by and visit her in tasting room when you’re in the area. She is full of life and conversation with her is always a joy. The Royal Oaks wine is on the sweeter side, but they also pour Roblar’s wines as well. All delicious! They have many cute little goodies you can purchase as well. I always make sure to stop here with I’m in town! Can’t wait to go back! :)

I am very impressed with the wine. The taste is good and the quality of wine is high. We really liked the Pinot smooth and balanced with a nice aftertaste. I want to go back but the lady at the counter was kind of mean. I don’t mind serious people but she needs to treat customers with much more respect. Nice little town here.

My boyfriend and I came here on our first date. We were the only 2 people in the place, and the woman waiting on us was really lovely. We chatted with her for at least a half an hour, and when she learned he’d just returned from serving overseas, she gifted us our glasses.
The wines are great– if you like sweet/​dessert wines. I typically won’t touch sweet wines, but these were great! Very distinct flavors.
So between the really courteous staff (at least, on the day that we were there, judging by other reviews), and the delicious wines, I highly recommend a visit to Royal Oaks!
