My hair looks amazing Leigha is awesome she explains everything step by step and answered all my questions. And did a wonderful job on making my hair look natural and beautiful. She’s very professional and also very beautiful person. I have had very bad experience before with extensions I’m just glad I found salon LG!!!

For anyone who is looking for quality, skill and precision in cut, color and in placement of extensions, Salon LG is the ONLY place to go for any of these services in Southern California. I have been a client of Shelly (and Leigha) for over a decade and there is no other hair salon I would even consider going to for either a cut, styling, color or extensions. The stylists take their time with their clients and make you feel like you are the most important client in their practice. They never rush you in and out and take as much time as is needed to listen to your desires and then impeccably execute. When you walk out of this salon you will feel like a rock star princess!

LG is the BEST salon in all of San Diego, and maybe even all of California.
People come from other states, just to have their hair done.
I have had my hair done all over the world, and couldn’t be happier, with LG salon.
You can’t always please mentally ill clients, but at least they tried.
If I were the owner, I would have asked her to leave after the first visit.

I am writing this review because I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed in the lack of knowledge at Salon LG. I was visiting family and went to them to get extensions and color. They completely screwed up my color … I’m blond and Shelly made me some ugly shade of grey! My extensions were half done and they look horrible! They completely overcharge for half-​ass work!
They deserve no stars! I am now in the process of finding another salon to fix what she messed up!
Do NOT go to Salon LG! On top of their horrible skills. Shelly is beyond rude!
Do u guys not realize there are other salons way better than you! A mistake I will never make again! I will read my reviews next time!

In response, Shelly you have a unique way of turning around a review (or basically to lie) about what led to the first review. Which is pathetic on your part! First, it seems to me you have a handful of clients… so no you never have ANYONE in the salon! That shows your lack of professionalism and complete lack of skills! Second, you distinctly refused to fix your terrible hair mistakes, so that is a lie… your partner must be very incompetent if she cannot blow dry someones hair while you’re gone. And you are gone alot! And as far as telling you you are the best, you are delusional! Did that make you feel better to cover how incompetent you are? Salon LG is the WORST I have been to. So, in conclusion, Shelly, lies don’t make you look any better or get a better review. You and your salon will never be anything other than second rate… Again NO STARS!!!

I came to Salon LG by recommendation from a good friend, who raved about Shelly’s amazing skill and sweet personality. I arrived with a complicated hair extension situation leftover from a different salon, and was hoping Shelly could help. The salon was clean and bright, and VERY friendly. Before doing anything to my hair, I had a nice consultation with Shelly so she could understand my expectations, and also asked me questions about my habits so that she could create a game plan for the best results.
My options were clearly explained to me so that I had realistic expectations, as well as pros and cons to different types of extensions. At this time, I booked my appointment, and Shelly even took her time and graciously fixed a couple things I had going on with my hair (at no charge) to last me until I could come in and spend ample time with her at my first appointment. Very nice!

I have now been with Shelly (and Leigha) for almost a year, and could not be happier! She pays so much attention to keeping my hair not only looking fabulous (I get compliments everywhere I go!), but also makes sure that my hair is healthy and strong. There have been times she has been kind enough to work me in when I’m having a «hair emergency», and she always listens, is very professional, and incredibly skilled at what she does! I absolutely love her and Leigha, and my beautiful, healthy, and luscious hair and I look forward to having a very long lasting relationship with Salon LG. I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else! You absolutely get what you pay for in the personal attention given, and quality of the product you receive.
Bottom line: If you care about QUALITY, and want incredible results with friendly service from gals that care, go here!

I just moved here from the Chicago area and needed a new salon but had no idea where to go. I looked on here for reviews and contacted Salon LG. I emailed them and they quickly responded through email and also so friendly and helpful. I made an appointment for color and a hair extension consultation and she was able to get me in quickly and work around my schedule. Love how Shelly responds quickly and also the email appointment reminder! I also inquired about a product my old salon used, Shelly looked into it and had it for my appointment which was only a few days away. I was greeted with two friendly smiles and a nice atmosphere. Ive had my hair a very light blonde for years and my old salon had many issues with the right blonde (sometimes it was too ashy, other times too gold and I just wanted that pretty light beachy blonde). Salon LG got it spot on! Its the absolute perfect color blonde, so shiny, and felt so soft and better after leaving the salon. Shelly and Leigha work perfectly together and did such a great job. (Leigha does an amazing head and neck massage also, its the little things). They spent time answering all my questions and trying on hair extensions which I ordered and can’t wait to pick up. I can’t say enough great things, they know color and blonde and the toner was perfect. Loving my blonde hair! So happy and excited that I found my new salon in my new city:)

I’m just your average gal, but because of Salon LG, I now have movie star hair. I am so happy with my halo extensions. I went in to get them layered since they were a little heavy for me, and when I left, I had the most gorgeous curls and shiny natural looking long flowing hair! Thank you to Leigha and her expert skills. She was also very knowledgeable about the products she was using, and helped give me tips to best wear my halo. I didn’t know that my hair (with a little help) could ever look that good.
Treat yourself — you’ll get a lot more attention with hair extensions!

So Leigha is AMAZING!!! She was able to fix what a different salon had messed up and seriously worked wonders on my hair! I needed to get in last minute (and literally a few days before Christmas) to get my extensions done for my husbands homecoming from deployment. She got me in no problem and was so incredibly sweet! I get so many compliments on how natural my hair looks and strangers ask me how I got my hair so long ;) So obviously she’s doing something right when my very short natural hair can blend so well with my new long, beautiful hair! Seriously if your looking for a new salon to go to for extensions don’t bother looking anywhere else because this is the BEST salon! **Also I’m a licensed cosmetologist myself and EXTREMELLY picky so seriously this place is hands down the best!

Came in for a haircut and to get my extensions cut. The shop is cute and well styled. The two ladies working at the time were super nice and very knowledgable! They gave me an amazing shampoo/​conditioner with a scalp massage that was much needed to relax. After a good blow dry, trim of the dead ends, and added layers I was back to beautiful hair! They gave me advice on my extensions and showed me how to blend them with my hair. I left the salon with fresh hair, some new beauty tips, and some fruity smelling dry shampoo! They are super knowledgable on extensions and I can’t wait till their new line comes in you won’t regret coming here for all your hair care needs!

I’m SO incredibly happy with my new hair! They gave me exactly what I asked for (a subtle ombré) and gave me expert advice on how to cut and style my hair.
I have too much hair to handle so I stayed away from getting extensions, but I saw a few ladies come and go whose looked awesome!
The ladies are so nice, warm, offer you drinks and are all about the girl talk! :)

I go to Salon LG for all my hair and Extentions needs. Shelly, Leigha and Krystina have always made me feel like a million bucks when I walk out of the salon. They are gentle with my hair and I’m never disappointed with the results! I have been going to Salon Lg for 3 years and will continue to for many more years! They are friendly and funny I love this salon and all the girls!

Skip the cheap online extensions that won’t match your hair and come to Salon LG. Shelly and Leigha will work wonders in color, cut, and extensions. Shelly has done years of research and trial and error to bring you the best in hair extensions. They offer multiple brands and textures and all the hair is custom-​ordered for you. Leigha at salon lg is the best! I’ve been going to Leigha since January for my tape in extensions after having a bad experience with the beads at another salon. She actually cares about the quality of your hair which is a nice change from other stylists. They use quality hair and it looks natural. She is also the best at blonde highlights. I’m extremely picky and she does it exactly the way I like it every time.

Shelly worked miracles with my hair, I just love it and she did an amazing job with the color as well.
