Had a tricky time getting an appointment scheduled. The salon is ok, cozy and boutique style set up.
I would not recommend that patrons purchase the Groupon deal — it seems to upset & annoy the hairstylists. With that said, I recommend that the salon remove the deal since the employees do not seem happy to have these customers.
My stylist didn’t seem genuinely happy to provide me with her services, she burned me with the hair dryer and curling iron, & did a very sloppy job curling my hair.
This salon is relatively clean and I received a nice haircut.

My mom and I have been seeing Angela for years for both coloring and cutting. She really is the best when it comes to highlights; she knows how to make it look super natural and all-​around beautiful.
Whenever I go to an event, I love to get my makeup done. Markell is amazing at makeup! She’s so sweet and she really listens to what sort of look you’re going for. She makes my eyes look 10x bigger and better.
Overall, this place is just phenomenal.

The girls at Urban Beauty are the best at what they do and are always a pleasure to spend a couple hours with. I have been «getting my blonde back» here for over 14 years, back when they were «Studio Savvy» in both their current location and in Del Mar. Highlights, lowlights, cuts, waxing– this is your place! Life’s too short to be a brassy blonde! Urban Beauty is your new BFF.
