My husband and I got married here on August 15th, 2015 and had a really good experience. We booked them a little over a year in advance after looking and looking for a reasonably priced, nice, outdoor wedding venue that could accommodate about 100 guests. The venue is absolutely beautiful with a nicely landscaped outdoor area, a big, well lit tent that they leave up in the summer, a concrete patio, and a cute little gazebo that we got married under. The chapel itself is cute, too, but the outdoor area is so pretty for a summer wedding. Lynn, the owner, was awesome about communicating with us; she always called/emailed us back quickly and had lots of good advice and tips for making things run more smoothly. Another really nice thing about getting married there is that they don’t make you choose people on their«preferred vendors» list, you can use whoever you want and they just like to know who it is and have contact info for them in advance. They also really didn’t have any photography restrictions like other venues do. Tamara is kind of like the day-of coordinator and she was also great to work with. We had an appointment with her about 6 months before the wedding and she helped keep us on track, had a timeline example that I used most of and some other helpful things and was also very quick to respond to any form of communication. Lynn had linens for all of the tables(and even ones for the extra tables we brought) available to rent for only $ 10 each which was substantially cheaper than any rental company. All of the tables and chairs were also included in the rental. Tamara also has wedding stuff that you can rent; we rented her water goblets since we had our own dishes and needed something for people to drink water/lemonade out of. She has tons of other stuff available, too. We also rented the pop up tent for the bartenders to serve drinks under and if we had over 100 guests we would have had to rent the additional parking lot/parking attendant for another $ 100 but luckily we were right at 100 and they didn’t make us rent it. They also had a clean-up service available for only $ 100 which we used since our parents already did so much to help with the wedding(and were busy cleaning up all of our dishes and gifts and stuff.) They swept the chapel and did lots of little things to leave the chapel looking the way it did when we arrived and $ 100 was very reasonable. They also had staff available to hire; we used one of their people as our bartender(it’s so great that they let us do that, we saved tons of money not having to hire an actual bartender for just wine and beer) and we used someone to help Tamara and our parents with set up and also another person helped bus tables, cut the cake, etc. I really don’t have much in terms of complaints; the only thing that was a little bit stressful was the table layout; Lynn gave me one for 100 people and there’s no way it could have held 100 people even if we really squeezed everyone in. My mom and I drew up a new one and they didn’t have a problem with it and the tables were set up as we asked when we arrived. Overall it was an amazing experience and we got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. It was very laid back and Lynn and Tamara made it so easy to get married there. I would definitely recommend them to other brides and I will also remember what a beautiful wedding we had!

Lynn(owner) and Cathy(coordinator) were GREAT throughout. Of course the chapel and grounds are charming. We looked at hundreds of venues online to get married and looked at a several in person, but we quickly focused on A Chapel On Swan’s Trail because of the historic chapel, the well groomed grounds, the banquet area, kitchen, gazebo, etc. The list goes on and on. We wanted a church wedding and an outdoor reception and this place fit the bill perfectly in one quaint location. If you’re looking for a place to marry and your guest list is around 100 or less, you CAN’T go wrong here.

The owner, Lynn, is amazing. She is so responsive and so accommodating. As the bride, I had a lot of random questions come up along the way as I was planning our wedding. I would often times email Lynn and she would get back to me so quickly. I would often times ask if I could come by with my photographer, family or whoever to just check it out again and get the details I needed and she was totally great with that. I loved that there were no required vendors that we had to use and that the venue was so flexible. You can really tell that Lynn’s whole goal is to make your day the best day it can be. The venue is awesome if you are looking for an outdoor ceremony for about 120 people or less. It is so quaint and has so much character. The chapel is really neat and just adds to the feel of the venue and the gazebo is a great touch. We had a beautiful chandelier hanging from the gazebo and it really made the dessert buffet extra cute.

Lynn Hallstrom may possibly be one of the best loved venue hosts in all of Snohomish! I have worked with her at wedding and community events and she is about service and care through and through. She has even been known to work a few miracles in the midst of wedding chaos. Many a bride has given her a big, heartfelt hug at the end of the evening which is something I do not see happen often elsewhere.

Our daughter was married here just last weekend, August 2014. We could not have asked for a better location or people to work with. Lynn, the owner, was fabulous. We communicated regularly, we visited the property several times and were always greeted graciously. We hired 2 of Lynn’s staff for the event and they were worth every penny. The property is perfect for weddings and other events that include multiple generations. Lynn and her crew made this the most memorable day ever.

I had my wedding here in August 2013. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Lynne, the owner is fabulous. She is approachable, professional and so accommodating. She genuinely wants her clients to bring their vision to life. The venue is ideal as well. The chapel is so charming and the property itself is so suitable for a casual, country-style outdoor wedding that does it all from the ceremony to the reception. I would recommend this site to anyone who is planning an outdoor event!
