Gymboree is clearly lacking reviews, and not because of Unilocal automated messages. This is actually a pretty nice place, and it’s really small. I wish I had come here sooner, and will come here again. I’m not sure I see what the hate is here? Employees are friendly, and the only thing that throws me off is the distinct lack of real pricing. As my wife compares to Ann Taylor: none of the prices exist — there is always a sale and the price is always lower than indicated. Many things said $ 36 that went for $ 12 or thereabouts. Our 1 year old loved absolutely everything inside the store, and the staff were reasonably chatty with us and friendly to our child. In fact, I’d have been surprised if they weren’t friendly to our kid — because everyone loves her. I attached some photos of the clothes we bought, just so people can have some ideas of things they had.

Horrible customer service. I bought 3 dresses for my 3 daughters on 11⁄3. One is too small and they will not let me exchange at the same sale price I originally paid. They want me to return and pay the higher price. Absurd. Done with shopping at this chain and all my friends will be too.

WOW. This place is a freakin’ zoo on a Saturday. Maybe it was the extremely high prices. Maybe it was the screaming children. Maybe it was the piles of clothes on the floors. Whatever it was, I felt overwhelmed. We were in to exchange some onsies we got at our baby shower and were SHOCKED at how much a pack of onsies cost there. Our friends must really love us. We frantically looked for something to buy using our store credit and then immediately got the heck outta there. Well… after standing in line to check out for 10 minutes. In their defense, the two girls working the counter looked SWAMPED and had a steady stream of customers coming in and out of that store to keep them busy so I can’t hate. But I was glad to get out of there. Seriously? $ 40 for a baby skirt that she’ll grow out of in a few weeks? It just seems crazy to me.
