Hillside Cemetery

An old mining town cemetery has got to be full of ghosts, and the Hillside Cemetery in Silverton does not disappoint in the spooky factor.
The cemetery is in a beautiful spot on a hill that overlooks the town of Silverton in the valley below, and the surrounding mountains. It’s also provides great insight to the history of the town and surrounding area.
I would suggest going during the day to walk around and read the information boards and tombstones, and maybe taking a picnic lunch. I would also suggest returning at night to do a ghost walk.
I would also suggest wearing a diaper, in case you do run into an old miner’s ghost and can’t control your bladder. This place runs pretty high on my «Pee Your Pants» scale.
