Sasquatch Adventures

We had a Groupon for a Sunset Kayaking trip with Sasquatch Adventures and it was a great experience. The guide was very helpful and willing to adjust to the experience level of the group. The equipment was great and the scenery around the lake was very pretty.

My husband and I took the sunset kyak tour. It was wonderful! The guide was patient and helpful since this was our first time kyaking. Her customer service was great! The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. Our tour had many with previous experience and all enjoyed the night. I will definitely recommend Sasquatch Adventures to anyone visiting the Mt St Helens area.

Went out on a Sunset Paddle and it was so much fun and so beautiful! First time on a kayak and me and my husband requested a tandem kayak ahead of time. Reservation process was easy and went smoothly with a Groupon. Got there 15 min early like it says to and got signed in and acquainted with the rest of the group. Our tour guide was very nice and informative about techniques. What I liked was she let you do what you want and then meet up at designated spots to regroup, so the fast went fast and slow went slow. There was a spot where we all grouped together and Mt. St. Helens was in the background and she took pictures for us. After we got back to the dock and went inside, we followed a different employee to the complimentary wine tasting from Mt. St. Helens Cellars, but it was at their home so it was very laid back and casual. Tasted a lot of wines and the owners were very friendly and it was an overall great experience!

Sasquatch Adventures did a wonderful job of accommodating me. I am nearly 70, petty out of shape, and recovering from low back surgery. Nevertheless, I had a great time! Dwaine, the owner, had just the right equipment to give me good back support and he gallantly and deftly helped me in and out of my kayak. We had a beautiful sunset paddle, saw an eagle, several great blue herons, and some song birds. It was a gentle, peaceful adventure. The wine tasting at Mt. St. Helens Cellars following the event was only a mile or so down the road also a lot of fun. Their wines were very good and reasonably priced, so we bought a few for ourselves and for gifts. I definitely recommend this outing as worth your time. It will leave you with a very nice memory.

My wife and I really enjoyed our trip with these guys. Our guide Gregg was welcoming, knowledgeable about the lake and seemed to really enjoy his job. We had 3 other people on our fishing and kayaking trip, but never felt like we were ignored or didn’t get the service we expected. He gave me some bait, so we didn’t have to wait for him to come back around. The lake was gorgeous and overall we had a great time. It certainly was worth the hour drive from Portland.

My friend and I scooped up an awesome Amazon Local deal! Our guide was so nice and answered all our questions. The lake was gorgeous and calm. I would love to kayak here again, but I really need to get my own kayak!

What an amazing trip my friends and I had. We were fortunate to snag a week day kayaking tour around the beautiful silver lake. Our Kayak guide Justin was awesome! He made every one feel comfortable and relaxed. We took a nice stroll around the lake. Some times people want a bit of a challenge while kayaking (like I do). I was lucky to encounter some choppy waves as the sun was setting. When you turn around heading back to the dock you catch the gorgeous sunset. After this 2 hour tour we went to Mount St. Helens Cellars for a delicious wine tasting. The entire trip was affordable and fun. If you need a quick get away from your busy life I recommend this trip, it’s the perfect time to relax and breathe in the crisp air. Thanks Sasquatch Adventures you truly made our weekend!
