I bought a nice suit from a Brooks Brothers outlet for my wedding, but it was a little too loose for my small frame, so I brought it here to be taken in. It was my first time there, but I was really happy with their service — they did a great job taking in the jacket and slimming down the pants, and had everything ready in a week. When I picked it up, the pants were hemmed slightly higher than I wanted, but they were able to fix it immediately and it was all done 15 minutes later. Friendly service. The whole thing cost me $ 100.

I went here for alterations to a bridesmaid dress based on some of the reviews on here. I was so pleased at the workmanship. It was almost like the dress was never touched; that’s how good the sewing was. They are a bit pricier than some but you definitely get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend and return!

I have mixed feelings about this place. The first few times I used them 2 women did the fitting and their work was excellent for reasonable prices. 5 stars! Then I went back 2 more times to have 2 dresses altered (bust decreased in 1 due to weight loss and shorten straps on dress#2). Those times a man (owner?) did the fitting and it didn’t go well. For the 1^st dress I had to show the man where to take up the darts — where he was pinning was not as good an option — and he’s supposed to be the expert — although the darts were done well in the end. For the 2^nd dress I had a bad feeling about where he was pinning the straps and sure enough the straps were taken up too much — I think they put the seams behind the pins instead of on top and that extra ¹⁄₈ inch makes a difference to me. And to top it off those 2 jobs seemed to cost more than the early jobs. So I prefer the women doing the fitting and the last time I went he seemed to be the only one there so I left.

I have been here several times for alterations to pants and shirts. The service excellent. Very friendly, old school feel to the place. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for attention to detail and good customer service.

This place is awesome. It’s like being on the set of the Cosby’s. But even better than that, the tailor did a damn good job tailoring my clothes. My skirt’s zipper needed to be fixed. Not only did he fix that, he also fixed a rip in my skirt that I did not notice being there free of charge.
The tailor also promised me my jacket would be finished a week later. To my eva luvin surprise, he completed it 5 days early!!! The jacket was perfectly done. It’s nice to find a business where the work done is above and beyond what was requested.
