CVS

The pharmacy needs a over haul! It takes forever to get your meds. I’ve been given someone else’s meds before. That’s a serious problem! The staff is rude. Finally decided to go elsewhere … Target pharmacy (Rockville) is the place for me. It’s a little out of the way but the staff there are super nice and helpful!

Staff is extremely rude. Yet again I will say as another past reviewer said 30 mins to just drop of a script is ridiculous. I then was yelled at by the manager for my child, mind you he is 2 years old, not to play with the toys. Even if we are buying them. I proceeded to retrieve my son’s Amoxicillin RX back to the paper for and went to Safeway Parma to become a pharmacy patron there from now on. Forget you CVS.

One star is even too good for this CVS. I went in around 11:00pm. My mom and I were looking at the item down the shelf. An employee name Miezan or Niezan bumped into my mom, fail on her hand, and said «sorry, I didn’t see» at that point I couldn’t not be any more angry. I looked over and he was clearly re-​stocking the shelf. How could he not see two customers.
It’s impossible!
We went up to pay for our items and I asked him how could he not see two customers right there. He said «the stuff was going to fall down on u». WHAT STUFF! if there was something falling, we wouldve notice when we were walking pass by! (walked pass by 2 – 3 times) clearly he was re-​stocking the shelf. He was being very disrepectful and used such a low lauguge to us. Even thought this CVS is the closest one to my house but I will never ever come back again. Unbelievable employee.

The store itself is okay. However, the pharmacy is terrible. The staff members are so unfriendly, rude, and slow. I go here all the time because it is the closest location and each time, it is dreadful. I believe I have had one okay experience (out of dozens). It is just sad that this place is so awful. The people that work in the pharmacy act as if they absolutely hate their job and everyone that comes to the pharmacy. I would suggest going to another pharmacy if you can. Stay away from this one if you will be a regular customer.

The store itself seems fairly decent. The store is mid-​sized as CVS stores go, and is open 24 hours. I’ve never had a problem with the store part of it.
The pharmacy, however, is not a great operation. The service is slow (more so than at other CVS stores where I’ve had prescriptions filled), and most annoying for me, they set all of the prescriptions to automatically refill by default. As someone who occasionally travels and who may be nearer to other CVS stores while running errands and such, I find it obnoxious for a pharmacy to refill your prescriptions for you without permission. I control when I refill my prescriptions — not the pharmacy. Likewise, my doctor determines what sorts of prescription meds that I should have, and the pharmacy should not be acting as a pill pusher.

This location is always understaffed up front and at the pharmacy. The pharmacy is by far the worst part though.
It takes them forever to find your prescription if the even have it in stock. They ran out of a rx for my wife and told her to come back in a couple days for it. Thankfully it wasn’t like her life depended on the rx but they should be more concerned with having these things available. They are medications prescribed my a doctor ya know. And it’s a recurring refill so they knew they would need it and failed to order it till they ran out.

Inept. It worries me that the pharmacy is supposed to read prescriptions and fill them yet they cannot judge how long a prescription will take to within 5 hours. The prescription was supposed to be ready at 5:00. It was not. They said it would be ready at 6:00. They said come back in 30 minutes. Came back at 9:00. Still not ready. It took them until 10:00 to fill a prescription that was promised at 5:00. We started getting our prescriptions filled at the CVS on Viers Mill near Twinbrook Pkwy. They have been consistently good at getting our prescriptions filled quickly.
