This review is not for the business and their food — because this business on 1109 Spring St. is CLOSED! I cannot drive without a GPS device since I always get lost(I’m really bad at finding places). I visit my family in this city and I get lunch and/or dinner with them. I found a regular place that I visit whenever I’m in Silver Spring but I accidentally visited this place three times! And this place has been CLOSED for a while!(here is the proof: ). I use Unilocal App and map it on my smartphone when I’m driving and I sometimes get the wrong address because of the similar names. I’d be okay if this place was open but I went there without getting any food! The other place on Georgia Ave. is the one I’ve been going(8 times so far not including phone orders) and I can tell some recent reviewers actually left reviews here for them. Funny! Anyway, I finally found out how to bookmark my favorite shops so I hope Unilocal App doesn’t mess with me anymore. Having some OCD issues, it really bugs me when CLOSED shops stay on Unilocal for a while and shown«open for business». I hope Unilocal fixes this problem soon(I already submitted an online report to Unilocal after 2nd wrong visits to here months ago, but Unilocal ignored and here I am again!)

Cheap, delicious, and relatively quick! I had an amazing breakfast burrito for only $ 5.25 and it took about 6 minutes to make!

This place has a huge sandwich selection. The prices are really good and they have a lot of healthy options too. There are a few tables inside and outside but I usually take my lunch to go.

This place is my go-to when I want lunch by my office! It’s great quality sandwiches every time, and they have a lot of different options. I love the rancher breakfast special with hash browns, eggs and sausage with toast, delicious! Everything is very reasonable priced for what you are getting, if not more-so a really good deal. I want to try everything on the menu! The guy who owns the place is also very friendly and talkative, and it seems like he makes an effort to be up at the front of the café, trying to get to know his frequent clientele. What a wonderful place!

Hmmm… so I stopped in Café Express to grab a quick breakfast sandwich after the morning rush. Service at the register was rather slow. I, then, had to wait more than 10 mins for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Not that great of a sandwich. The worst thing of all… no one is wearing gloves. I’m pretty sure I will not be going back

Stopped in here for a quick breakfast sandwich on my way to work after having my annual physical next door, wanting to patronize an independent café, instead of one of the chains in downtown Silver Spring. Unfortunately they didn’t impress me in a way that would make me bypass the chain next time. I ordered the very simple«bagel with nova cream cheese and tomatoes», which took so long to prepare that I had to peer behind the counter at one point(after 2 other customers that ordered after me had received their orders) to make sure that they were working on mine. After the long wait, I was already in DC before I realized that they hadn’t put the tomatoes on my sandwich. It wasn’t even busy: 4 customers and 3 people behind the counter when I was there, so there was really no excuse.
