I never thought I would enjoy working out consistently until I started training with Nate. Prior to training with Nate, I was occasionally going to the gym but never had a regular workout routine. A really good friend of mine recommended Nate after several failed attempts to stick with a plan at the gym. My first day in the small group class was tough but it made me realize I was not pushing myself hard enough in the past. I am truly happy with what Nate has helped me accomplish thus far and look forward to continued progress. I almost forgot to mention, everyone in the small group classes are great! It is a very supportive environment. :)

Nate has moved gyms and is now training at No Limits Sports & Fitness Academy in Signal Hill. Personal Training with him is as awesome as ever, and now in a larger, more well-equipped gym, he has the added ability to offer small group training classes. I thought I’d never want to give up one-on-one training, but the small group classes are a great alternative; for one thing, the sessions are longer(1 hour instead of 30 minutes) and for another, working out with a group pushes you a little more because the competitive spirit kicks in! And the social aspect is fun. Whether you want one-on-one, personalized fitness training or the camaraderie of group fitness classes, Nate is still hands-down the best trainer I’ve ever worked with. The new gym is: No Limits Sports & Fitness Academy, 3221 Industry Drive, Signal Hill, 90755. You can still find all Nate’s info at . **Here’s what I said before, and it all still holds true! I’ve been working out with Nate for about a year and a half now, and I could not be happier. I’ve worked out most of my life, but I’ve always floated from one thing to another… weight training, Pilates, yoga, cardio classes, running — I could never stay with anything, because I always got bored. But with Nate, I never get bored. He incorporates a variety of different activities into my 30-minute workouts to keep me(and my muscles) from getting complacent. Not only that, but he tailors workouts to each person’s specific goals. I have a friend who works out with him as well, and her workouts and mine are never the same because we have different goals. Nate is an expert at training for whatever your objectives may be, from weight loss to strength to specific sports goals. I’m fit, but I’m not naturally super coordinated. Okay, fine… I’m a klutz. Fortunately, Nate is really good about demonstrating each exercise for me, and he never gets impatient when I don’t get it right away. He just finds a different way of explaining it until the light bulb finally goes on. And since he knows that coordination is not my strong suit, he incorporates exercises to help with that as well. He’s very friendly and encouraging without being over the top with the cheerleading. He’s also NOT one of those trainers who shouts at clients to «motivate» them… ugh.(Why would I pay someone to yell at me? Plenty of people do that for free.) Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I’ve never had an injury working out with Nate. I work out pretty hard, and he always pushes me to do more than I thought I could, but he never pushes me so far that I hurt myself.

Nates workouts are FUN, motivating, specialized, and come with just the right amount of A** whooping! Always coming up with new ways to make that magical«burn» happen, Nate is a top notch trainer with an A+ attitude!
