I have come here few times now. This library is larger than an average public library I have been to in NYC. The library looks old but it is quiet enough to get the work done. I often sat at the back of genealogy section and I have found it to be the quietest section there. The chairs there are nice and comfy.
They have a decent selection of books and activities for kids and adults. Staff is nice and friendly. The bathrooms were mostly clean.

A wonderful neighborhood library! Lots to do here! Plenty of programs for young and old! Several interests are stoked here. Lots of workshops, discussions and hands on activities! Fun things for the kids to do in the summer and air conditioning! Oh! And a heads up on this one! It has real books in it, too!

Good selection or books & dvds, great place to study while looking out at the bayou— if you are new town you have gotta get their reference book for $ 5. It has every group, club, association in town with contact info.(they update it every year– Bravo!)
