Perfect way to end Valentines, «date night.» Two delicious café mochas with raspberry whip cream.(And an extra shot of espresso!) Been coming to this little spot just outside Nordstrums for over 20 years. I used to get their caramel latte every time I was in the mall. Great spot to sit and unwind after an afternoon of shopping.

Line is much shorter than Starbucks, indeed. However, my experience was nothing but a disappointment. Customer service was awful. It only takes one server to ruin the whole experience. I ordered one double espresso and one of their mocha storm(I believe that’s what they call their version of a frap,) and it took them 35 minutes to make it(and only because I now stated to inquire whatever happened to my order). The one woman behind the counter had an entire flirty conversation about her friend, the mayor, her jeans and Rebecca Minkoff(which she said, she will be wearing the next day,) while everyone else was seemingly working and there were other hasty customers waiting for their order to materialize. There were«blames,» eye rolling going on while they were conversing about their co-workers attitude. The short-haired woman threw a plastic bottle of caramel on the floor while they were arguing. When another woman asked about her«berry storm» the same employee who was throwing things around was mumbling and saying«sorry Hun»(in a generic manner came and just made the orders while tossing things around. Where was the manager? I mean really? The man at the register was trying to expedite things. I was lookin at him and his eyes seemed apologetic for his coworker’s manners. Just unbelievable.

This is the Nordstrom Café visible from the main hall, by the entrance of Nordstrom and across from the AT&T. It has a shorter line than Starbucks.
