I’m glad other people had a good or acceptable experience. We had nothing of the sort. The barista was painfully slow and was constantly checking her phone, talking about all her text messages. All this could be forgiven if the drip coffee wasn’t gross. We weren’t upset about the experience until we overheard the barista make a snide remark about a screaming kid. That was our baby, he’s 1 year old. Maybe don’t work at a coffee shop that advertises to be kid friendly and boasts a play room if you can’t stand«screaming kids.» We’ll never come back.

My new favorite coffee shop in our hood. Love what they did with it expanding and the cozy seating area. Owner is local resident with kids in the school district. Best whip cream evah. Some food and Ms Arta calls all of us «girl». It’s okay if she doesn’t remember your name, she’s a gem anyway. So happy she bought this place. Big enough space to hang out and can check out the funky shop next door. It would be nice if they had desserts and captured the crest crowd

Great Place, Great Coffee, and a kids play area. We have been so many times my 3 year old remembers where the bathroom is!

Fantastic organic coffee and fun, classic mechanic theme. It’s a very cute place. They have good snacks and lots of milk alternative options. One of my favorites.

I am so excited about this place. I just moved to the neighborhood, not knowing this gem was not only nearby but also adorable and has a PLAYROOM for kids. It is everything I’ve wanted in a neighborhood café. Can’t wait to be a frequent customer.

Still a really awesome place if you happen to be taking a coffee break with your toddlers, or even a little older.

I agree with the comments that the barista is very nice. However my drink came lukewarm and the worst part was that it looked like a regular foamed latte. The picture showed it with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and toasted coconut. When I questioned the answer was that that was just a picture but they can’t make it that way. If you like instant hot chocolate then this is your drink. Otherwise don’t order the almond joy mocha.

Indie café in the Ridgecrest neighborhood of Shoreline located diagonal from the Crest movie theater. Seems to be doing well after new ownership and expansion — friendly barista, assortment of baked goods and café fare, nice variety of seating arrangements(in/out, kids room), tasteful décor, flat screen, and gas fireplace to make it feel welcoming. They even have a drive up via sliding glass door. Coffee beans are from Fidalgo Bay. Early AM hours(5:30am!), but closes by 6pm. Would be great if there were longer hours, then it would be a perfect site to hangout before or after a film at the Crest. There are only a tiny handful of indie cafes in Shoreline, so be sure to stop by and give them your support if you’re in the neighborhood.

Best place around. Plus, marshmallow cream in the whip! Don’t skip it on your next mocha.

I adore this place, and come here quite often for my coffee. The staff and management are very friendly and outgoing, and ever better… they know my order by heart! I love walking up here with my dog, getting him a treat and my coffee. The new owners are rockin’ it here! The coffee and food is great as well. I would recommend coffee lid plugs though for the hot drinks, otherwise it’s awesome!

Coffee/lattes/americanos whatever you order is extremely great. The staff is super friendly, courteous and personable. They have the right amount of snacks/pastries. It is also a great place to chat with a friend or do homework as they have a sitting area separate from the coffee stand. A great friend of mine lives nearby so I always make it a point to go by here(or do homework) anytime I am in the area. I highly recommend.

A really incredible neighborhood coffee shop. Great lattes, excellent baristas, and a wonderful environment — comfortable and cozy with a kid room off to the side, and a nice little outdoor seating area!

I loved this place so much. The people there were very nice and really knew their information. They recommended great food and drinks sense it was mine and my friends first time. The décor is amazingly cute and very spacious for sitting and talking or reading. They even have a special room for kids to play in! Would 100% recommend. AMAZING!!!

Cute coffee place — plenty of cool seating to beat the summer heat in! I had a blackberry Italian soda and it was great!

The atmosphere is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their coffee is 100% organic and delicious and most definitely the best coffee shop in shoreline. I highly recommend this shop to everyone who wants to grab a quick cup of coffee(they have a drive-thru!) or someone who needs a place to study and relax.

The atmosphere is really nice, and they’ve recently remodeled with a dedicated room for kids to play. The whole place feels really relaxing and like you’re hanging out in a comfortable living room. Employees are always friendly. Also, have recently extended their hours… so I’m able to bring my kid and leave mom at home for some peace and quiet. We live around the corner and are lucky to have a nice place to hang out. I’m not much of a coffee drinker, so I can’t speak for it. But they have lots of different munchies and foods and other drinks, and are very accommodating when my child only wants a small cup of whip cream! Happy they are a part of the neighborhood!

Great place to meet someone for coffee, but the London Fog(earl gray tea and steamed milk, plus a little sweetener) I ordered was terrible. Not sure if I was not clear about what I wanted, or what happened with my drink. I would definitely go there again — and just be sure I ordered explicitly what I want.

Stopped by for an americano on the way to work this morning. By the time I was driving past Northgate, I wanted to turn around and get another. It was delicious! Smooth and exactly to my order. My first visit in over a year… and I’ve already decided to return tomorrow.
