As a Sherman Oaks local, I had been reluctant to try this bar, but suggested it to my friends for drinks, food and to watch the NBA finals game One. Stir was mostly empty until after the game around 9ish when it started to pick up. My short review: The drinks were ok, the service«good» from an attractive/attentive server, but the three food items ordered from the very limited menu were really awful. Just saying, you don’t go to Stir for the food… ps, don’t order the French Fries; they killed one of my favorite foods with an abundance of salt.

Best bar in the valley to enjoy the music mingle and drink… Saturday Nights are the best… Make sure to get a table outside for smoking! Great crowd!

Decent environment, kitchen closes early(sad face emoji) late night kitchens at a lounge are the best.

I went with my boyfriend on a Saturday night and it was definitely an older crowd then what we expected. Drinks were super strong, if your trying to get extremely drunk then your good, but they tasted gross. DJ was so bad. We didn’t like it. We thought it was going to be hip hop and when it was good hip hop he played it for like 5 seconds. Not satisfied.

Came here to watch Kobes last game! Was pretty empty and there was only one waitress on deck!!! She was manning the floor until people started flooding in! I ordered two drinks and had to send both back,(disgusting, no way to explain it) there well liquor is cheap costo liquor that would make a basic cranberry and vodka taste disgusting. I ended up sticking with my ol’ faithful cider beer. I also tried their wings, and my gosh were they tangy. they tasted like the were dipped in vinegar(okay maybe not that far by you get what I mean) basically eat before you come and stick with a beer. The music is great though, I guess that’s the only thing I cant complain about.

I’m trying to figure out why this place has so many bad reviews, but oh well. I went on Friday got there around 1AM and it was pretty popping. They had a wide selection of drinks, not to mention they were playing some really good music.

We’ve been waiting for 10min for our drink. & I guess they had to go to Ralph’s to get the ginger beer. Still waiting, for that ginger beer & it’s been 20min. Very poor service. Be ready to serve your drinks that are in the menu.

Got my twirl on at Stir Last night hosted by my girl, Melissa Monilero. The waiters where attentive, the club was pretty packed with a lot of dancing going on. Had a blast! Only aggravation was the female DJ who kept switching the song every 30 seconds. She did it to every track. It was very unusual. I prefer to hear at least a verse or a chorus or both. She switched the music so much I felt off beat at times because she mixed different tempos. keys, etc. A lot of people left because of this. The Dj’s before her let the songs play out a bit more. They all could work on their mixing and transitions though. But overall, it was a clean, joyful and diverse atmosphere. Will def go back to get my twirl on.

I wish I could give this place zero stars because my very short experience here was so ridiculous. Decided to come here with my friend for the Happy Hour advertised on their Instagram, website, and even sign on top of entrance. Happy hour is advertised until 9 on Thursdays and we came at about 8pm. The place was empty and after sitting for a good 10 minutes with no menus, a server finally comes out giggling with her 3 coworkers. We ask for Happy Hour menus and this girl tells us that they do not have and have never before had a happy hour, in the most condescending way ever. We were shocked… Why advertise happy hour when you don’t honor it? Seems like false advertising to me. I told her it was all over their website and Instagram and she said«I’ve worked here for 3 years and we’ve never had any happy hour.» After that she proceeds to make some sort of 30% off deal with us just so well stay. No thank you. Left and went to the One Up down the street. MUCHBETTER atmosphere.

There is a $ 20 minimum per person and we were 2 people so paid $ 40 at the door to get in. Once we were in we sat at one of small round table for 2 people and the waitress comes and says if you want to sit there is a $ 200 minimum. We couldn’t eat for $ 200 worth of wings and drinks even if we wanted to so we asked for the cover charge back and they said it was non refundable… Bullshit place. We went to Rocco’s instead on Ventura blvd in studio city.

Stir used to be me and my friends spot over the weekends during FIFA World Cup 2014; which we really had a great fun time back then and the service and food were great; even thoug they were super busy during the World Cup! Last night(Saturday night), me and my friends decided to go to one of the local bars in our neighborhood. On my Unilocal search, Stir was one the bars and we decided to stop by and have something and a drink. We got there at 9:30pm and ordered food and drink. At that time, there were a few empty tables but after 30 minutes there were no room to walk. When it got packed the DJ started to mix the musics and everyone began to sing, dance, drink, and enjoy. The DJ created an incredible atmosphere. Honestly I wasn’t expecting so much fun. I don’t know who was the DJ but he/she rocked it and also the service, drink and food were AMAZING and we were able to fully enjoy our Saturday night!

Excellent place to watch sporting events, the engery is always positive. After the games this Lounge turns into a night club with great Music to dance to. If you enjoy the lastest R&B and Hip Hop this is the place for you. Lastly there food is great, get the boneless chicken wings, very good!

I tried liking this place. I even went back a second time on a different day. Unfortunately, the service was still horrible. The waitresses are rude and very unprofessional. The owner allows them to do what they want, but in general, he seems nice. 15 people were in my party. We reserved the VIP room($ 500 minimum) for my sisters birthday. We had 2 waitresses who turned out to be very crude. Both were snappy and very impatient. Additionally, one lacked adequate communication skills. She had a smirk on her face and she acted as if she didn’t want to be there. She is unhappy with her job and she took it out on our party. We were all in shock by her tactlessness. I ordered the spicy pasta, which was great the first time I visited. This time the pasta was bland and not spicy. I informed the waitress that my order was wrong and she said she would take care of it. She didn’t! In fact, she didn’t even return to our section for an entire 30 minutes. I eventually told her I did not want the pasta and I wanted a refund. Long story short, this place has great music and an okay ambiance, but that’s where it ends. The service and food SUCKS, for a lack of a better term. If I were you, I would take my money elsewhere, where it will be appreciated. This places needs to be shut down.

Our group went on Saturday night and the music was great! However, it was super loud and too hard to hear conversations. We ordered the empanadas & spring rolls which were delicious. The only concern we had was the bill price. The menu stated that there is 18% tax and gratuity included but the waitress insisted that it wasn’t included. We were not sure if she was telling the truth or not just to get extra tip. Our group left concerned and confused. Next time I go, I will certainly check with the manager regarding the false advertising.

Pretty modern lounge in Sherman Oaks. It’s a great atmosphere with good prices but the only that I didn’t like was how packed this place got. I arrived around 9ish and it was pretty empty but by 11pm it went zero to one hundred real quick! Met some people off the show Empire and enjoyed drinks with artist and celebs. For bottle service I believe it was $ 250 and above depending of the type of alcohol. Seating was very very very limited but the food was on point. See, I can judge fairly even though my friend owns this establishment :-)

I was there for a special singles event, and the place was packed. Nice sized bar area. It can hold a really large crowd. The outdoor seating area is very nice. But really for this special event, there were no waiters. People wanted to order food and eat. To try to grab a waiter to even get a menu was impossible. I found one busboy, and he threw down a menu on the table, and then we never saw him again. I ate at the bar, and the bartender said«If you order the food here, you have to eat it here, because there are waiters serving the tables.» My answer was«Really, because I have been trying to find a waiter, and I have not seen a single one.» They would have sold so much more that evening, if they had an adequate number of waiters available.
