Armenian/​Russian restaurant with a modern theme! The food is very good here, tastes exactly like how we cook it at home! I’ve been coming here a couple times a month for about a year now. The new owner is very nice and funny, the waitresses are nice as well. they’ve remodeled recently and the inside is more welcoming then before. They’re new bar is very nice! They chose my favorite color (blue) so it’s a plus for me lol. Defiantly recommend this place

I did my mothers 70^th birthday here and oh my I love it so much! The new owners are amazing ! The word amazing does it no justice ! The food, staff, music, absolutely everything is wonderful ! I will for sure recommened it to everyone !

This place is great, I just had a little birthday party for my daughter and we reserved a spot for about 30 people. The food was excellent, the service was punctual and the ambiance is nice. Live entertainment was great, we had an amazing time and all our guests left extremely satisfied. Chris is the one in charge there, I guess it’s under new management but he is doing a great job because every time I needed something there was a waiter or waitress ready to serve. I would highly recommend them for casual dining or for family events, either way you will leave happy. Thank you for a memorable evening, my family and I will be back for more celebrations.

Good food, enjoyed it very much. The lamb chops were great. The music could have been better but it’s not like it was terrible. I’ll come back again with friends and family.

Wow! Where to start with this place and this incredibly rude owner! Took my Family here and still feeling the bad effects. When the owner wasn’t going around being rude serving horrible food, he kept on walking outside, with both doors open and smoking one after another. My kids and wife all got food poisoning from their food. Do not know how these people are still open. Folks, so many other wonderful Armenian Rest. This owner is a piece of crap. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money. There’s Carousel in Hollywood and Cocos in Tarzana. great places, great service and amazing food.

Service was not so great. My water was gone by the time my food arrived and nobody ever refilled it. I did have a glass of wine also, but I always like to have water too. The food was okay. I was there at 7:00pm and it was dead in there. There was a large selection of things on the menu, and the decoration inside and table decorations were clean and nice.

This is the best restaurant in the the valley. Food? Amazing. Staff? Excellent. The price is right. Drinks are nice and stiff. Where else in Sherman Oaks can you be transported to a different world? No where. Hermitage is where you didn’t know you wanted to be.
This place is my secret that I’m sharing with you all. Use it.

I don’t even know how to begin, this place confused the hell out of me. My boyfriend and I were looking for new places for dinner and I pass this place sometimes when I get coffee at 7-​eleven. So here’s what happened, judge for yourself.
We walk in and there is 1 light on, the rest of the restaurant was DARK. There’s an older guy in a black leather jacket sitting back in a dark corner watching some foreign tv channel. Nobody else is in sight so we say «HELLO?» to the guy. He get up from his chair, turns on a few lights, and grunts something to someone in the back (mind you, he did not acknowledge us). A nice young woman comes out and said «Would you like to eat dinner?» and we said yes. She told us to sit anywhere so we sat by the front entrance. The woman proceeds to go back into the back of the restaurant (what we assumed was the kitchen).
We are looking at the menu, hoping to get a drink first and possibly and appetizer, then decide what we wanted to an entrée after. We sit for a good 10 minutes (WITH NOT A PERSON TO BE SEEN IN THE ENTIRE PLACE) and nobody comes out to even offer us water. We exchanged a look and immediately knew we both wanted to leave. So we left and went to LaLa’s, which was amazing in every department, lol.
I’m telling you, I couldn’t make this up. It was like a scene from a movie.

Best food hands down

Here’s the thing. In my opinion, this is NOT just a restaurant you pop into whenever. It can’t be your «go to» restaurant, because there are always private parties here. It’s good for that — for parties. The dance floor is a wee bit small. Our party only took up half the restaurant, but we couldn’t fit on the dance floor (not even half of us). The wait staff was okay. Their food is pretty good, BUT many things are spicy. Not overly spicy, just a little, but it was literally almost everything. I would look into this place if you’re looking for a banquet hall type of situation for a small party (of 20 or 30 people, or maybe 40). They have live music as well (Armenian/​Russian, of course).

I went to this restaurant for a group celebration of the International Woman’s Day. There were several other groups who were celebrating birthday parties. Atmosphere and the music is great! Waiters are very friendly. My favorite of the night is their avocado salad and the Kotleta po Kievsky. Recommend this place if you have a big celebration, or a small scale event.
You have to reserve in advance, if you just show up, they most likely wont take you in, because they are getting booked up pretty quickly. If you don’t like loud music, you might want to re-​consider the choice of your restaurant.

If I could give more stars I would. I love love love this place. I came here with a group of coworkers who frequent this place and fell in love. There were constant fireworks going off in my mouth. My favorite was the sea bass, shrimp, and asparagus in a white sauce. I’m still drooling over it.

This is the second time I’ve been here. Both times they told me they are really busy and don’t have time to serve me food cause they are having a big private party in a few hours! But there is no one there at the time. I just want to order food to go. This time they even gave me a menu when I walked in, so I picked what I wanted and then they told me no. I’ll never waste my time trying to eat here again. These people are RUDE!

There food was ok but they have no service! They had no security guard and had a party of about 40 drunk man who ruined everyone elses night! A fight started there was no one there to stop it or control it!!! We are never going there again!

This place is truly a great establishment. In February we celebrated my aunt’s birthday and just yesterday we celebrated my mom’s birthday. We always order banquet style and have enough food to feed a country, well maybe a really small country. The waitstaff are very sweet and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious and they have live music. They are a bit pricier than other restaurants but it is so worth it. We come here, enjoy ourselves, and leave without dealing with the mess. That alone is worth coming here rather than budgeting and celebrating at home. Everyone is so nice and we have surprisingly been lucky with all of the other guests. No fighting or inappropriate behavior. The only thing that bugs me about this place is the valet service. It is so UNNECESSARY! .and $ 7 just to open my door and park my car is extremely expensive. I really think they should get rid of the whole valet system. The restaurant is not big enough for them to need this. Anyway, it is a great place nonetheless. If the valet part bugs you too, just park on the street. I always end up valeting since we are a big family and I am not going to have my 70 year old grandma walk across the street just to save $ 7. This is our goto place for all of our special occasions!

We’ve eaten there a couple of times back in November. They tend to have private parties a lot but did let us order food to go. It is a Russian restaurant yet most of the food items are items you can find at some typical restaurants such as steak, ceasar salad, etc.
The food itself doesn’t have bells and whistles but they do serve your money’s worth and the prices are very reasonable. The stroganoff was real good yet in their version, they serve rice instead of pasta noodles. The sauce they did was awesome.
We’d go back again someday.

went there over the weekend. Horrible service. It took them over an hour to bring out appertizers. We had no drink nothing until the apperizers arrived… and that was after one of the persons in our party went to the owner to complain. will never go there again
