I know good Lebanese food cuz I’m 100% Lebanese. All four grand parents came from the same village in northern Lebanon. I grew up on this food and I was very disappointed this past Fathers Day. We called and made a reservation and requested Kibbeh Nayyeh with Lamb not beef. The girl said she’d talk with the chef and call us back. Nope! We got there and were told they don’t do lamb for some health reasons. But they do beef I guess because that doesn’t spoil? Strike One! Ordered Tabouleh, no cracked wheat, little olive oil and very little lemon and very little tomatoes and cucumbers. Dry as dirt, asked for lemon and got a couple of thin slices. Strike Two! Ordered Lebneh, tasty but served room temp and not cold but it was good. And because I was so bummed about no Kibbeh instead of ordering a entrée I just ordered a lamb sandwich. It looked like a burrito and had the worst pieces of lamb in it full of grizzle and fat and tough. It was like stick that in there and get rid of it. The waitress was pleasant. We should have walked! Ok for gringo’s. And only four others at a table as we left around 7:30pm. Not a good sign. Next!

Do Not Eat here! The food was mediocre at best. We ordered four appetizers and only the stuffed grape leaves were good. A big problem was the incompetent server. As soon as we sat down we informed our server that we were gluten free and that one of us had celiac disease. She said ok no problem, but didn’t seem to understand. We told her that we couldn’t eat any bread, pasta, etc… After our entrees were served, everything said that it came with rice, we discovered that the rice was actually mixed with pasta. When we asked the waitress she said that she didn’t know. We asked her to find out and we asked to speak with a manager. OOPS, all the rice had pasta in it! Unbelievable! Celiac disease is serious and could have caused a severe reaction. She offered to bring more vegetable instead. She took the food and brought it all back cold but with vegetable. The pork was so over cooked that you couldn’t cut it. She then offered free desserts. The baklava was raw. And we never got to speak with a manager. There were only three tables of customers the entire time we were there, on a Friday night. So, clearly this place is not popular. Overall bad food and bad service!

Amazing authentic Mediterranean Food! I come here very often because I just can’t stay away from their falafel wrap with the delicious tahini sauce. the chicken shawarma plate is really good as well. Definitely gotta try this place! And the service is excellent!

Dined here for lunch today with my Aunties, cousin and daughter. I’ll start by saying we are all Lebanese and realize that restaurant food isn’t going to be just like Sito made at home, but we are always hoping to get something close. We ordered several appetizers; hummus, lebneh, fried kibbeh and tabouli. All were very good. For our entrees three of us ordered lamb kabobs. I ordered mine rare. They all came out well done, dry, chewy and odd tasting. It was the worst lamb I’ve ever had. Two people had chicken which they both said was good. We ended the meal with baklava, rice pudding, flan and some custard dish. The consensus was the baklava was good, rice pudding okay, the flan was an odd thing to have on the menu but good and the custard dish had an odd texture but tasty. The service was fine, but then again we were the only ones there. There are several better Lebanese restaurants in the area that I would go to before coming back to Cedar House. But if I did return I’d order only appetizers and stay away from the lamb.

Just had dinner here with my in laws and it was exceptional! We have been here many times before and the food is always consistent and always great! We ordered the complete feast this time which is a perfect option if you want to taste some of everything. Portions are generous. Thank you Adam and Shant for your very, very kind and attentive service!

Really great food! I have been ordering delivery from this place for well over a year now. I am always pleased with the flavor, quality and quantity of the food. The baba is smokey and delicious and the chicken kabob is perfect! They are always extremely friendly. Seems like it’s family owned and I always love that.

We picked up dinner here a few weeks ago and it was very good. So tonight we went again and dined in. The food is very good and so was the service. Nice atmosphere. My wife had the Caesar Salad and I had … Liver and onions. The French fries are really good too.

I really like Cedar House. The service has always been fast and friendly and the falafel is soooo good! I’m surprised by all of the negative comments regarding service as I’ve never experienced bad service there. I have never ordered delivery or takeout so I wouldn’t know about that, but the service has been great every time I’ve been there.

Picked up dinner here tonight. I remember it being good, but tonight it was horrible. It was $ 66 for 3 entrees and they were mediocre at best. There are much better places to spend your money. Definitely will not be returning.

We just ordered delivery and they came in about 30 minutes, which is pretty good. However, We got the«complete feast» for $ 45, thinking it would be enough for 2 people, we even asked the guy on the phone, but we were sadly mistaken. Considering each meal is less than 15 bucks how can something $ 45 be so tiny? Why would you skimp out? There are soooooo many other options in the valley, never doing that again.

Two weeks ago, our family of six were really hungry and in need of a really healthy dining experience. We stopped at Cedar House, having just ordered take-out from them before which was really good. Adam seated us and cheerfully explained all about Lebanese dishes and what best to order. We ordered the feast and weren’t prepared for the excellent range of flavorful dishes that started arriving out of the kitchen! We started with soup and then an array of yummy hummus, tabouli and baba ganoush with warm, fluffy pitta bread. I ordered labne on the side as I love this refreshing cucumber and yogurt dish, which was so delicate and delicious. The chicken, beef and kefte arrived on a huge plate covered with more warm bread and seasonings. Adam explained the use of lemon in Lebanese cuisine and we enjoyed some wonderful lemon-fragranced specialties. We finished with some Lebanese desserts and baclava which was delicious, and Adam brought tea made with fresh mint leaves … awesome! It was a real surprise to discover such great, healthy and tasty food so close to home and we will definitely be back! Five stars for food, ambiance and the GREAT customer service from Adam!

Had some time to kill, and as I was in the area and it was lunchtime, walked in. The restaurant wasn’t full and was seated immediately. OK, the food is good, But what really shocked me was how great the service was as provided by Adam. Blew away many a fine restaurant that have dined at recently. Will definitely come back for dinner sometime.

Not a pleasant experience. I definitely won’t be back. The hostess said that the wait for a table was about 20 mins. We were given one menu for the two of us and were able to place our order in advance of being seated. We selected the ‘Complete Feast for 2′, a good deal at $ 39.95. While we were waiting to be seated, the hostess disappeared and never once checked in on us with an update on the wait time. When a table finally did become available, there was absolutely no rush to seat us, despite the fact that we’d been waiting for 45 minutes, not 20. We didn’t see the server much, and everything seemed to take forever. She dropped off the hummus plate and hurried away without asking if we wanted any pita bread, which we requested the next time she came around. When she brought it over, she kind of tossed it on the table so that it slid towards us, and said ‘pita’ as she walked away. There was really very little exchange after that. When the check finally came, I noticed that we were seemingly overcharged for the meal, because it was $ 45 instead of $ 39.95. I pointed this out to the hostess, and her response was«Oh, no, no, no», as if my memory was wrong. I told her that I was positive that it was $ 39.95 to which she responded that I must have gotten an OLD menu. It was the ONLY menu that we were given to SHARE! We went back and forth for a couple of minutes, having to make a case for why they should give us the price from the menu that we were given. When she realized that I wasn’t going to let it go, she eventually changed the price. I’m sorry, but that’s just bad customer service. The moment that she realized that it was her mistake, she should have offered to make it right. I shouldn’t have to plead my case.

Update: So the whole family was here for another b-day. I have to give this place one more star after eating here again. The food was A LOT better than the last time. Especially the meat was amazing. And again, a very pleasant staff and venue. We were here a couple of days ago for a birthday dinner. We were 8 people so we weren’t a huge company. We ordered a little bit of everything and the food came relatively quickly. It was okay. The rice was probably the best out of everything. Our waitress was sweet and the venue is nice and quiet. All in all an alright experience.

A place like Cedar House should be packed for lunch. Theres a large parking lot, so plenty of parking spaces. Its a very roomy restaurant and could take large groups. But the service was just too slow. We had a very nice sweet lady waiting on us. I don’t know if she was one of the owners. But there was our large group, and about four other tables in the place — it was just too much for her. Plus she has«To Go» orders. It seemed like she was the only waitress there. Also, she could have placed the water, bread, ghee, and pickles on the table before we arrived. We had reservations and they knew we were coming. It would have saved her some time to have the table ready before we got there. I had the chicken kabob lunch special which was great. A skewer of chicken, hummus, rice and a salad. It tasted great and I really liked it. After lunch, she brought us all complementary specialty coffee — very strong, And a complimentary dessert. Both the coffee and dessert were very good. She was a very nice waitress, she just needs one more waitress helping her at lunch time.

So the food is so-so. The problem here is the service is extremely slow. We came for a wedding rehearsal dinner for a party of about 60 people. Half the party had left before the main course came out. It took about 2 hours for the main course to come out. One would think, since there’s a large party reserved, they should prepare ourselves for fast service.

Very good Lebanese Mediteranean food. The chicken was marinated very well and extra tasty. The hummus was deliciously creamy. The only negative I have is I would have loved if the salad was a bit more than just lettuce/cuce/tomatoes with ranch dressing. Would have been nice if it was a greek salad, feta cheese, oil/vinegar. Overall pretty good.
