Fountain Park Motel

We needed a place to crash and this had the best price. We made a reservation through Kayak but when we arrived we were told it wasn’t there. No problem, they had rooms open. We were charged $ 20 extra since four adults were sharing the room. I wasn’t thrilled for that but whatever, it was midnight and we were ready to crash. We got in the and our husbands crashed out. My girlfriend and I got ready for bed and noticed that the bathroom had not been cleaned. From how dirty it was, it seemed like the toilet hadn’t been cleaned in 3 – 4 weeks. I talked to the guy at the front desk and he called the manager to make it right. Him and the manager said that we should have called to get the room changed. Untold him our husbands were passed out but to take me to a new room to insure we’d get a clean bathroom. That one was not clean either. He told me he didn’t know what else I could want; it wasn’t that dirty. Needless to say, I’m not happy with how we were taken care of and will not be back on our next trip to Sheboygan.

My wife and I have stayed at Fountain Park Motel three times in recent years. Each time we stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The motel is clean, the staff friendly, the location excellent. A popular Family Restaurant is across the parking lot. This motel is an unpretentious, budget-​friendly lodging that we highly recommend.
