So A/​C is nice when it’s 90 degrees outside, right? Don’t expect it at this hotel. Came here for PGA, and will never come here again. Unless of course there is absolutely no place else to stay. They gave us 2 box fans after complaining to try and help the situation. Its so hot and humid, 94 degrees. Staff doesn’t care. Clock wasn’t plugged in. One of the fans doesnt blow. Thermostat fell off the wall, Pretty sure just got bit by a bedbug. They do give out free peppermint candies from 1996 at the front counter. Delicious. Lost our room keys. Phone is dying. Thinking bout jumping out of the window. Can’t wait til breakfast. 2 stars for location.

Would never stay here again.
TV didn’t work; got a new room and the speaker were still not working.
Heat was not working and had to get a portable space heater from the staff.
Bathroom faucet was constantly leaking. Staff was helpful at first but with our complaints about tv and heating she kept say «no more complaints… ha ha»
Do yourself a favor… spend the extra 10 bucks and go to La Quinta or Holiday Inn.

Apparently this Hotel has some history. I found this out from the new owner. It was the historic Grand Hotel years ago and the new owners are in the process of restoring it. Our room was clean and comfortable and the price was very affordable. The location is right in the center of the historic downtown district with restaurants and shops as well as within walking distance to the South Pier area. Right outside the door is a tourist bus that will take you to points of interest for only a dollar for the whole day. The outside is currently being remodeled. Don’t let its current appearance keep you from staying here! As I said a work in progress. Will stay here again! Comfortable and a great value.

I return to Sheboygan frequently for family events and usually stay here. I give four stars for price and value.
This isn’t an upscale hotel and some features are quite dated but most of the rooms I have been in are clean and seem to have some updated features. They do have a pool and exercise room and is in close proximity to some wonderful restrants, bars, and nightlife.
The hotel is usually very quiet and the staff is very friendly.
