This little shop is a gem in Lake City. If you have any watches or clocks that you’ve always wanted to fix but didn’t know how to, this is the place for you.
The inside of the shop is the neatest. There are floor-​to-​ceiling rows of those old library card boxes filled with parts. It’s a cool blast from the past, a unique, independent business that I’m sure some greedy developer will buy out in no time.
I had a Timex Expedition watch that had a plate that my husband and I couldn’t figure out how to deal with. The owner replaced the battery, set the watch, sealed it up well, and charged me next to nothing.
He also sells watches and other time pieces.

This little shop has kept my family heirloom fireplace clock running for many years, despite the fact that the gears are very old and worn. The owner takes a personal interest in seeing that it continues to run. It takes time, but it’s worth it!
