Great workmanship and customer service! I got labor quotes to recover a sleeper sofa via email (sent photo and dimensions) from five different upholstery shops in the Seattle area that had good reputations. S & S Upholstery’s quote was competitive, and their free delivery and pickup sealed the deal. Michael at the Lake City store was very helpful in finding fabric that met our criteria. The work was completed within the time estimate, and the finished product looks terrific. I would highly recommend them to others.

I hired S&S Upholstery to complete a $ 10K custom sectional and interviewing several shops in Seattle. From the very first phone call, I could tell they were professional, detailed, and took pride in their work. They had great communication throughout the process of designing the piece and completed our sectional with excellent quality. It’s great to see shops that still take pride in their work, don’t cut corners, and deliver on time at a competitive price. Would recommend them highly for any upholstery or furniture work!

Great customer service. I have an old Schoonbeck sofa that I had hoped to restore. I emailed some photos and other information about the condition. Really fast reply with specific breakdown of cost estimates. Sadly, it’s more than we want to spend to the restore the sofa so it’s probably headed fo the dump. However, Tim’s communication and knowledge were great!

S&S Upholstery did an awesome job on my couch re-​upholstery. The couch looks amazing and they were super easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. We had purchased fabric for the re-​upholster and they were able to make it look fabulous. I am very very happy with their work and would highly recommend them to others.

I love this small business! I wanted to get two chairs recovered. Tim and his experts advised me on fabrics and let me take home the fabric sample books that interested me. They picked up my chairs on the day and time they promised – right on time, almost to the minute. Eight days later, they brought the chairs back, again right on time. They did a fantastic job! I highly recommend this company.

Tim and company recently completed their second project for us, two window seats and the complete reupholstering of an old sofa. Wow, everything looks wonderful. The window seat cushions are deep and comfortable and invite you to curl up with a book and stay a while. The sofa was beautifully done. It’s an unusual piece and you could tell that Tim was genuinely interested in making it into a real stunner! I would highly recommend S & S if you have a special piece of furniture that you want to keep forever. Their work is of high quality and they really go the extra step to take your project from blah to extraordinary.

S&S is the best. We bought a new high quality couch (Baker) and had S&S reupholster it. Because the new fabric was much darker than the original fabric, the new fabric color brought out the lumpiness of the couch’s underlying padding. It wasn’t asthetically right. Tim took full responsiblity for not recognizing at the outset that this would happen, took the couch back to his shop, and repadded and reupholstered the couch at no cost to us. It now looks great! You can’t better quality and service anywhere. Tim’s integrity and honesty through the whole process was amazing. I enthusiastically recommend S&S without hesitation.

My husband had two chairs that were covered in a horrid white striped 80s fabric. I loved the shape of the chairs so I felt it was worth it to try to save them. S & S reupholstered them for us. They look amazing! I am so in love with them now. I will use S & S again. I worked with Michael. Super nice guy. Very very very happy with their craftsmanship.

Was referred to these guys by McKinnon Furniture (which I’ve also reviewed) for an antique armchair that’s been in the family since Christ was a deckhand. My dear chair languished for years under some gawdawful pattern that looked like a Rorschach test seen through the eyes of a glaucoma victim. They restored the chair to its former glory TOOT SWEET. Tim, Michael — I love you guys. My chair looks so freaking great I can scarcely bear to sit on it.
