We never had a water issue in our backyard until after these folks did the work. We paid to have urban oasis do engineering to ensure the water went away from our house… Upon completion, we had a lake in our backyard. A few plants were ruined… We went back to urban oasis only to get months of run around. They responded– but didn’t really ACTed on our complaints. We also had a tree die when they re-​planted it. We ended hiring a different company for our water issues and used a different company to replace the tree that didn’t make it. We were luke warm about our experience with Urban Oasis. After spending the money we spent, I thought we were going to have a stellar customer service. We did not.

I measure the quality of contractors when things go wrong. Last year Urban Oasis re-​designed and built our backyard. It was an immediate victory! Quite pleased. But six months later a settling issue occurred causing a visual sag to a sitting wall. We called. There was ZERO discussion about potential shared liability, causes or anything — just a scheduling for a full fix followed by a team who accomplished a pretty serious re-​do. So my vote is in: Urban Oasis is First Class, Top-​o-​The-​Line Quality!

The «Design» or Urban Oasis is great! Carrie not only has a great eye, but listens to your needs, puts together sketches of a few design options which are then used to hone in on the final design in the desired price range. The design services are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
When it comes to «Construction» the service and results are not quite as good — I would recommend you take the designs and get construction services elsewhere.
We had two projects done by Urban Oasis and I would use Carrie for the design of another, but then take the drawings and go elsewhere for the construction.

We had a great experience with the team at Urban Oasis. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable, creative and flexible through the entire process. Throughout the consturction of our front yard, they were very clean and orderly, something that was very important since we have young children at home. Our neighbors have even commented on their professionalism. The results of their work is awesome, I love spending time outside now. I highly recommend this company and hope to work with them again.
