Ordered via Bite Squad — I got the firehouse, wife got the Green Chile. Very good execution, nice size, good quality, great flavor combos. Fries were alright, not the style that I crave(Smith and Lindas) but still good. Will order from at the drop of a hat again.

Delicious burger. Love the light buttery bun. Brightened by pickles and made a bit more complex by the special sauce(curry?). Lots of great beer and great service. Lots of yum.

I’ve loved BottleNeck for a while, so I was really excited to see that the owners had opened a new place right next door. Yay, another neighborhood hangout! I visited for the first time this past Sunday to watch the Seahawks crush the Cardinals. It had a laid back, casual vibe that I loved and it was a great spot to watch the game — plenty of seating and two large televisions. The staff was super friendly. My boyfriend and I ordered the green chili burger with added bacon and a basket of fries to split. He also got a pour and I ordered a flight of three ciders and one sour beer. If you order a flight, you get $ 1 off. Everything was delicious — the burger was especially juicy and tasty, and the fries were seasoned perfectly. I loved all three ciders — Schilling, Atlas, and Number 6 — which were pomegranate/cranberry, blackberry, and traditional. Usually berry ciders taste like cold medicine to me, but these were nuanced and yummy. Good choices, Two Doors! The only suggestion I would have for Two Doors Down is more snacky foods! There aren’t really any sides to choose from except for fries. I was really craving nachos. But I’m looking forward to returning!

Love this place! Brunch is amazing(breakfast hamburger… YESPLEASE!). Great local beer selection. Friendly staff. Games to play! Kids are welcome and seem to enjoy the games and Wix Sticks.

This is good. I ordered the Classic, without cheese. It was just right, and delicious. Love the house pickles & secret sauce. The fries are long, crispy and has seasoning on top. Junior burger was a hit with my 2 year old, even if they put the wrong cheese on top. The only thing I would say is a put off is the price of growler fills. Steep. But, they do 4 oz tasters of all pours for $ 2, which is nice for lunch.

It has a nice and very friendly atmosphere. Good for kids. Also, has a nice bar area to sit at. Good selection on beers especially IPA like beers. The burger was very good especially for the price. I got the 2 doors down burger.

Me and my husband LOVE this place! I’m not a huge burger fan but this place has the tastiest burgers. They are the right size, the meat is super fresh and we love the buns! I crave it all the time and it’s the only place I actually finish the whole entire burger.

We moved from Colorado about 2 years ago and have always bemoaned the lack of a good burger in Seattle. We’ve tried many places but they have all fallen short in one way or another. My wife maintains that the issue is Washington is not a ranching state, thus they don’t know how to make a good burger, or don’t appreciate a good burger. Maybe she’s right because we’ve tried a dozen or more burgers but this was the first place we’ve found that we will come back to just for the burger. The meat was the right dimension and thickness and not over-cooked(medium rare turned out to be medium rare! Who knew a restaurant in Seattle could do this?). The bun, brioche, was delicious. The toppings were on point. So, 5 stars(well, 4.5 but I rounded up) for a Seattle burger. It would be 4 stars in Colorado, but even that isn’t shabby. The fries are coated, which is not my preference so I’ll skip those next time. The beer selection is respectable.

Great basic+ for the neighborhood — Great beer/cider selection — Solid unpretentious food — Friendly staff — Not too many critters on the bar side — Welcome addition to our rotation

My fries had so much flavoring poured on to them I thought I was at TGIFridays having their fries with their spicing and also fish flavor. They need to clean the fryer or have two. My burger has so much may sauce I had to look for for small burger. the quality is like the quality at the Bottleneck lounge, do not eat at either place. The bun is far bigger than the burger. I gave it a try and have no need to return. Go to 8oz. burger.

Firehouse is Seriously the best fucking burger around! Forget the screaming kids in the background slamming their fucking cups around. I mean come on parents teach your children some manners. Once I took a bite and sunk my teeth into the juicy, spicy, messy, mouthful of delicious flavors all in one burger, the rest of my worries disappear as the flavors awaken warm memories of a childhood past. I mean the let’s be honest, the burger makes a burger joint, and this burger sold me. Thank you for reviving the corner and keeping the blue seats from its original Philly cheesesteak roots!

This is a great place to grab a beer and a burger! They have a huge selection of local beers, including Ghostfish my favorite gluten free beer! Their burgers are good, and the fries are yummy. This is a very kid friendly place. Service is friendly, order at the counter or bar and they will bring the food out to you. Don’t forget to get one of their amazing rice crispy treats for dessert!

Attentive, friendly service and an excellent selection of beer that will suit all tastes. Busy but not so loud it makes conversation impossible. Family friendly: I. counted at least two children under 6 during our visit this evening. The menu is brief(which I count as a big plus). This allows for a number of items to be made in-house including pickles and other delicious condiments. Go there now.

Gluten free options galore! The corn dog and fried avocado sandwich are always gluten free, and any hamburger or hot dog can be made on a gf bun for a little extra(the owner’s sister is gf). Corn dog was a welcome treat, and while it’s a little pricy, they are paying attention to their meat sourcing and supporting local brewers and producers so you gotta respect that. Dedicated cider and a gf beer tap, 20 beers /ciders most local, and even a root beer tap :)(they do root beer floats, of course). There’s a good stack of board games in the corner and there seems to be a password protected Wi-Fi network available if needed. Overall a great addition to the area!

Went back a few days ago and they are much speedier with service now. Beer came out after a matter of minutes, and food followed soon after. Also, now that it’s football season, they show games on their 2 TVs(usually the same game).

We met here for Friday happy hour and dinner, three families and three toddlers. Fantastic! Clean, friendly and warm atmosphere, fast service, delicious food. The toy bar was a huge hit, and we actually got to EAT our meals. Overall great vibe. Next time I am totally trying the root beer float…

I visited Two Doors Down on their ‘pre-opening’ day(Their ‘official’ opening was the next day). Now, with a brand new place like this, I can overlook a few mis-steps, but just a few. I walked in and sat at the bar(it’s a two-sided place, a ‘bar’ side where no kids are allowed and separate dining area. Sitting at the bar, I looked over the menu and tap list(20 beers & cider taps) and was a bit surprised at some of the prices. The average beer price was $ 6/Pint(+ Tax) with one being $ 8(Georgetown Whiskey Barrel Aged Porter — 10.5oz pour) and a ridiculous price of $ 11 for a 10.5oz pour of Fremont Brewing’s The Brother Double IPA. The burger prices weren’t quite as shocking, but still seemed a bit on the pricey side for what you get. I ordered a Fort George Brewing Vortex IPA($ 6), their signature ‘Two Doors Down’ Burger($ 11 — 1/3lb patty, Tillamook white cheddar, bacon, onions, lettuce, tomato & peach jalapeño BBQ sauce) and a Regular Fries($ 2.50). My order didn’t take too long at first, but I received the wrong burger. Instead of the Two Doors Down burger, I got the ‘Classic’(Their least expensive burger on the menu at $ 6 — ¼lb patty, onion, lettuce tomatoes & pickles). I didn’t notice until I’d taken my first bite but, once I did, I sent it back for the burger I actually ordered. All of their burgers are ¼ lb except for the Two Doors Down burger(1⁄3 lb) and The 420(½ lb, I believe — for $ 16!). While waiting, I munched on my fries, which were pretty good but nothing spectacular, and awaited my correct burger. It took about another 10 – 15 minutes to receive my correct burger order. The burger was good, but not as juicy as I’d hoped and I couldn’t really taste the peach jalapeño BBQ sauce at all. They did use good quality bacon and the other toppings were good, but it just didn’t seem like $ 11 worth(for comparison, I could get a double patty burger with cheese & bacon at Zippy’s for $ 7.99 or a TRIPLE cheeseburger with bacon for $ 9.99 — still less than the $ 11 for this 1 patty burger). I decided to not order a 2nd beer to save a bit. My burger, fries and one beer came to $ 21.35(including tax). That’s a bit on the costly side for just a burger, a small fries and one beer in my opinion. Hopefully they can work out their ordering system glitches and get their beer prices a bit more in line. I may have to go back and give them another chance after they’ve been open for a while.

Meh. Like the other reviewer, I have been waiting with quiet anticipation for this place to open. Epic first day fail – neither food quality nor service are there, yet. I may try them again in a week or two and, if things improve, I’ll revise my review. Until then, I wouldn’t bother. Preformed burger patties on store bought buns. An hour and 10 minute wait for the wrong order. An owner who’s parting comment was, «Enjoy your burger, I know you’ll probably never be back». The sad part is, I was planning to forgive the opening day fiasco ANDCOMEBACK until that one little comment. Now, I’m not so sure. Owning a small, neighborhood based business is more than a few reviews and accolades on Facebook from your friends. You actually have to deliver a quality product and, at the very least, decent service to people in your neighborhood trading area in order to win.

Get ready, sweatpants. We live across the street, so the fella and I have been spying on the remodel of this space following the exit of Philadelphia Fevre(emphasis on the«fevre,» ugh), eagerly awaiting a new place to eat food and drink beer without having to venture far or, y’know, cook. The American Dream. One day we heard it was going to be a burger joint and tap room, another project by the lovely creator of the Bottleneck Lounge; we dubbed it «Burger Barn» for the time being. «Damnit, when’s Burger Barn going to open?! I don’t want to go to Safeway again!» we must have said hundreds of times. Finally word was out that the new place shall be called«Two Doors Down.» After months of brown paper-covered windows and hefty labor, the brown paper came down. My usual Twitter stalking scored me the knowledge that Two Doors Down would be open TODAY, one day earlier than advertised, so of course I cleared my schedule of couch-sitting and cat-petting to try their wares. First off, they did an amazing job of remodeling this place, which anyone who saw Philly Fevre could attest to. It’s clean and modern, and suited for both families and the non-familied by featuring booths, two bars(one for the under 21 crowd), a long wood table with chairs, and a lower counter along one window for chilluns. I extra love the drop ceiling, uncovered old windows and wood accents throughout. Food and drink are ordered at the bars with food brought out to you, but we were also offered more drinks by wait staff. The food was excellent — I had a veggie burger version of the banh mi burger(nice and tangy, on a brioche bun), and the fella had the classic with cheese and bacon. Fries are extra but of course we both ordered some. They were crispy and well-seasoned. The food is surprisingly more reasonably priced than I thought it would be, compared to other new food & drink establishments on The Hill(it pays to be on the«retirement side»). Between the two of us we had 4 beverages, all local beers or ciders. The back wall features many taps set in white tile. That about covers it before I slip into a food coma. I know we’ll be crawling back reaaaal soon for a deep-fried avocado sandwich and root beer float. Welcome to the neighborhood, Two Doors Down!
