My husband and I were in about 2 months ago and the expirence left enough of a bad taste in my mouth to remember and write a review. We ordered 2 iced coffee and asked for cream to which the barista replied«it is on the counter there«very roudly. I replied«thank you» and waited for our drinks. Waited for over 10 minutes and getting agitated bc people that ordered after us already got their drinks which I may add were way more complicated. Finally got our drinks, went to the counter to add«cream’ well turns out it’s watery 1% milk… another customer noticed that as well and was laughing Nd made a remark. So I brought it up to the counter for the barista and explained to her. She again, with so much additude yelled back at me «i will fill it once I get a second I only have 2 hands». BTW, there were 2 other Baristas behind the counter as well so it was not just her working. So yeah management you need to have a chat with this girl and either she needs training and or she needs to find a new job. Customer service is not for her. We left and my husband said«Thank you, and thank you for your additude» haha

If I could give zero stars I most certainly would. I’ve never been so poorly treated by anyone in the service industry in my life. I brought my visiting parents in for a quick treat and drink on a really slow morning and two of the drinks where messed up and they actually forgot our pastries. Now, I was a barista for a long time and understand that it can be frustrating when you’re interrupted while making drinks so I waited until they were through their line to ask for JUST the pastries and told her what they were… She rolled her eyes, slammed down her milk, and stormed over to the pastry case to get them all while making the most annoyed faces at her meek co-worker. She brought them back over and just tossed them on the bar and walked away. Whatever, I can deal with it. But then we opened the bags and she grabbed THE wrong things… Which would be okay if I wasn’t allergic to nuts. So my dad actually brought the ONE back up and ask for it to be replaced with the one that we had now ordered TWICE. Okay, I’m not kidding at ALL when I say that she turned and THREW… Yes… THREWWWW the pastry bag on another counter and STOMPED to get the right one. I wish I had her name. She was a short, short-haired brunette and the bitchiest face. I’m sorry for anyone that has the displeasure of starting their morning with HER serving their coffee.

really love the location. fireplace in the winter is the best. first bad experience the other day with a new barista. she was so stressed with only 3 persons orders and not another person in line. At first I felt like ‘we all have our bad days’ but then she was outright rude to me. really disappointed. normally I can make people fee at ease. not one customer was needy or in a rush. I think I’m avoiding this tully’s for awhile.

I bought a fruit box, found one of the grapes has mold on it when I was half way done with it. That could mean all other fruits in the box were contaminated too. I felt so gross and wanna throw up cuz I had eaten half of the box. I have never seen a rotten or mold-contaminated fruits that is for sale in my life. It can be really bad if customer gets sick and need to be hospitalized. Tully is one of the biggest national wide chained coffee shops, this kind of situation is absolutely not allowable and acceptable. Please be aware of this instance and carefully review your food handling, packaging and transportation process to avoid the same thing happens again. Again, I am very disappointed at Tully’s.

Very unfriendly staff. Coffee ok. Guess it’s because the area is so popular and only Starbucks as competition.

Friendly staff, fireplace, beautiful view and free refills. BUT.the WIFI is terrible. Don’t go if you have any work to do. Come on Tully’s…the connection is important. Happy to revise my feedback when you get it right.

I’d like to say, Beth, the manager called my friend today and apologized for how the employees acted last night. My friend said the conversation went really well and they will be sending out a gift card as an apology. That’s how the situation should have been handled last night. Thank you, Beth.

We went on a walk and decided to go in for an Americano. I understand lines and long waits, that never bothers me when it’s something that can’t be controlled and you still receive a quality product. There was a few issues that violated food safety and handling that concerned me. I watched the cashier handle cash and touched the top of all of the cups that were waiting to be made… Without washing their hands. Their bare palms grabbed the top of each cup(about 4 – 5) and soiled the cups. The barista had 3 jugs of milk out on the counter. They weren’t properly stored in a cooler and remained out on the counter for the entirety of my stay(20 minutes) I’m not sure how long they were on the counter before I was there or after I left, but I hope nobody had a latte after 4:00pm. My Americano was made incorrectly, the barista put the water in first then proceeded to add the espresso which resulted in a very watery, tasteless Americano. I would give them a second chance, however, I will not consider it until all of the staff review proper food handling/storage. 2 stars only because of the excellent view and location.

A warm, cozy, & intimate setting away from the hustle and bustle of Alki beach. Very personalized and excellent customer service in a relaxed friendly setting!

As a brooklyner, i know good coffee and excellent service. The«drip» coffee is not drip in the sense of bluebottle. Its just coffee. The barista today was nice but clueless. Customers were telling her how to make their coffee and when to pop their egg sandwhich in the oven. Anyone home? Coffee was good 3/5, Service 2⁄5. You want a barista that owns the place with their personality — not here(yet).

Baristas were in a rush; not friendly, long waiting time for drinks, drinks were not made as expected(I think they made the wrong thing), poor service overall and a little more overpriced for the quality of the drink than Starbucks. MUCH prefer Starbucks.

Walked in ordered a Chia Tea, Cocoa, Crescent and ham quiche. My fiancé recieved his order and food. I waited 10 min for my Chia Tea. I was very unhappy with the service as my tea was put to the side and not made. It only takes 3 min for the tea to steep. We returned because previous service was great and friendly! We will never return.

The line was long to even order. but the line to get my coffee was even longer! The wait to use the restroom was long and you needed a key to get in. I’m a starbucks loyal so I would’ve been at starbucks but they were renovating. I guess the only good thing is that they have free wifi!

Great coffee, great service, and 20 feet from Alki beach. A wonderful view with trails, and if you get cold they have a fireplace to warm up at.

Warming up on a cloudy day. Comfy chairs and fireplace inside. View out windows faces north to the water. Way better than Star-whatever. Haha! Still a signature Seattle coffee business tho!

In a city with no shortage of the unique, the audacious, the gutsy, the spunky — and the bland — when it comes to espresso and coffee, I constantly find Tully’s drip to be the most drinkable, smooth and«conversational» coffee out there. There are times when I want a bold and brash Americano. There are times when I strap on my fat pants, stroll out to Mighty-O for a doughnut(or 6) and then cozy up amid my protruding paunch with a large soy latte. But there are other times when I want 3 – 4 cups of coffee in a for-here cup while talking with a friend — whether it be right next to me in the adjacent club chair or thousands of miles away on Skype. Tully’s fulfills this need — and often, a «void» across Seattle. The Alki location gets better because you are along the beach, ready for a post-jolt stroll, or even better — caffeination after a day of play. There’s plenty of seating both inside and out, including a nice big table for group-think, and some cozy lounge chairs. There’s also music playing, which, personally, I prefer in a coffee shop to drown out the awkward silence of people not interacting and tapping on their laptops. –Crazy, crazy silence– First refill free. Free Wi-Fi. Lots o’ eating options. Free parking. Clean restrooms. Kthx — that’s more than enough for me. Patrick Dempsey or no Patrick Dempsey.

Since my last bad epxerience here last summer things have changed a bit. Pioneer coffee is long gone and it’s replacement, Ampersand, is not very pleasant. I will come in here occasionally if Starbucks is full or I don’t want to make the trek up the hill to Fiore. Acck. I just never learn. Because this is kind of a tourist destination, they get a lot of customers who ask a million questions before ordering(It’s not a life decision. just order). It can literally take 3 – 4 minutes for the person to order because the kids on the register aren’t capable of guiding them to a decision. Not ONCE has any of them every thanked me for waiting, which they routinely do at Starbucks. But it gets worse because the actual baristas are unbelievably slow and often serve drinks out of order, and again never apologize. It really seems as though there’s no managment prescence here. I know I sound a little nutty here but it’s just a terribly run store in a franchise that’s already slowly dying.
