With the work cafeteria closed, this food truck comes every day. The cashier remembers most people by name after the 2nd or 3rd visit. The food is tasty, if a bit pricey (a common problem with the food trucks). The cheese steak is a favorite among my coworkers. I particularly like the meatball, and most of the weekly specials (corned beef and cabbage the week before St. Patrick’s Day!).

LOVE THESE GUYS! Friendliest food truck around. Caprese sandwich is bomb. If I’m having a vegetarian cheat day I go for the grinder. Also, the chips are always perfect.

Yowsa! I am GF and these guys are on the hunt for Gluten free bread that is packed with taste! In the meantime Colby & Jason the two really nice guys I met that are running this new Gem to the Seattle Food truck scene whipped me up a meat wrapped grinder with some TLC. ;) Thanks fellas my taste buds felt the love & I will be back!

I just destroyed the Meatball Sandwich and it was absolutely on point. The bread was soft in the middle with a light crispy exterior. The meat was tasty and not overly seasoned, and the sauce had a great flavor with just a bit of spice. I hear the recipe is someone’s grandma’s from the home country. Whatever the case, the sandwich was great and should not be passed up. The fresh chips were a refreshing change from the typical French fry treatment as well. Thanks gents. I’ll be returning.

Another great food truck you can find at Chucks on 85th St sometimes. Actually, went back to order 2 times to this truck this afternoon. The first time it was for an Italian sub sandwich what was similar to getting a hoagie bun with salami, ham and some lettuce and tomato with Italian dressing with some home made potato chips. It was really good, but just sparked my appetite to get more. We followed this up with some meatball sandwich and 2 orders of potato chips that filled us up. It was a complete feeding frenzy at this truck this afternoon. With that much action, it must be good!

The meatball sammich was pretty good. The meatballs were quite large and flavorful, but could have been more moist. The ratio of all the ingredients was perfect. And there was so much mozzarella! Yum. A bit pricy at $ 8 but filling.
I also loved the freshly fried potato chips. They were cut thick like kettle chips and well-​seasoned. I can’t wait to try their other sandwiches!

I love my truck food and there is no disappointment here:-). Had the «Sammich» grinder yesterday and it slid down soo easy I was tempted to go for round #2. Awesome combo of flavors. The home-​cooked chips really topped it off. These folks are going to do well.

The meatball sammich is AMAZING!!! I’m addicted!!! I’m going to be coming back again and again. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!!!
