dear art of shaving, I recently purchased a straight razor from your Tukwila store. I would like to again thank you for the experience your employee provided. I told him what I came in looking for and he very kindly gave his professional opinion on how he believed I should go about my shaving experience. he did not just try to sell me the most expensive item in the store he gave me information on what he believed would help me, given the information he was told. after concluding what we thought would work best I purchased one of your straight razors and it is the best shave I’ve ever had. I always have problems with irritation and your straight razor shaves effortlessly and I can say that I have zero bumps and that I have achieved what I set out to do. I really can’t say enough about your employee, he never made me feel obligated or rushed and gave me one hundred percent of his time to help me. he also informed me that the store was in transition and looking for a new manager. I believe Cody would be a perfect fit for the current manager position. I was actually surprised that you guys were in a transition looking for a manager. you guys have a manager in house and you don’t need to look any further. Cody described his job as «basically where he lives» and showed desire for the position. in Cody I know you would find someone that appreciates what he’s doing and the title he carries and also would hold the standard very high for any future employees. Cody represented your company exquisitely and in a humbling fashion. I thank him and you once again. Sent from my iPad

We ended up at South Center mall for other reasons but saw this place and had been wanting to find a quality beard oil for my bf’s beard. The gentleman in the store was great. Super friendly, very informative. I didn’t catch his name but he said he was working there from another store that day(1÷17÷2016) He really took his time and answered all of our questions. We ended up with a really nice castor oil. Great customer service. I just looked it up to see if we have a location in Vegas. We will definitely be checking it out.

Last Wednesday when I flew into Seattle visiting from California, I went straight to the mall to check out the art of shaving and being part of the brotherhood of shaving, I decided to get a replenishment kit(lavender) and I had very good costumer service by a lovely lady that goes by the name Alicia and had a nice conversation with the lovely lady before I bought my replenishment kit and since my birthday is this month, I also got a discount too so that was a bonus, I’ll honestly say that I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere that Alicia gives the store definitely made me feel welcome the first time I visited the art of shaving in Seattle.

This is only a retail store, no shaves here. But you can buy product and gift certificates. Shaves are in Pacific Place or Bellevue Square. I had excellent service at the southcenter location. A lovely young lady answered all my questions and no pressure. I ended up buying a gift cert for my hubby for his birthday. Very classy joint.

Great service and products. After getting home a kit, my wife and I realized the fragrance was not what we liked. An exchange was done no questions asked. Just went back and purchased an awesome razor and stand.

The Art of Shaving likes a well appointed cubby, I would say! The store was neat as a pin and well stocked during the height of the holiday shopping season. I was shocked, however, that no one appeared to be manning the store. I walked in, paused, looked around in amazement for a few seconds, then began looking for the item I specifically came here to purchase. I quickly found the alum block my son requested for Christmas, and still no sign of any store employees. I started to approach the cash register, and in walks a young man dressed professionally in a dress shirt, slacks and ties. He asked me if I needed any help, saw I had the alum block in my hand and said that I must know what I would like to purchase. I agreed with him, but was puzzled because I did not see anything, like a name badge, indicating he was a store employee. We approached the cash register, and the young man walks around behind the register podium, which was rather tall. To my surprise(and to his, from the look on his face), there was an older man sitting behind the podium the whole time! He never once made his presence known. This older man stood up and rang up my purchase without saying much and I left. What a weird shopping experience! I took away two stars for the weirdness and lack of service. Maybe they have a company policy about avoiding pressured sales. I would appreciate a policy like that, but would also like to have some semblance of service(or at least acknowledgement that an employee is in the store and can help you if you need assistance!).
