I’m a regular here and I always order the house special — teriyaki chicken with rice and cucumber salad. The quality is good, service is fast and the place is always busy. It’s not amazing or the best I’ve ever had, but it fulfills my teriyaki needs.

Teriyaki Madness has the best spicy chicken I’ve ever had to date! Try it if you like spicy chicken from teriyaki joints.

For in-and-out teriyaki joints this place is the best. No wet iceberg salad; they have a nice marinated cucumber salad that’s very refreshing and tangy. The sauce isn’t cloyingly sweet but rich and balanced. The egg rolls are delicious and crisp. Such a great value — big portions of tasty food for low price!

Yakisoba was good. The general tso’s chicken: The chicken pieces were nice, but the sauce needed heat and a little sweetness or zest. The main flavor was soy saucy.

Meh. My yakisoba was sickeningly sweet and disgustingly salty. The chicken in it was pretty good. My buddy’s spicy teriyaki chicken was good but we noticed something weird. The section with the rice was pushed up so that it appeared that there was a generous portion but it was actually just a thin rice layer. That seemed pretty petty and cheap.(See picture.) I don’t know if I’d come back to this place.

Not sure why the Unilocal reviews are so low. The ladies are super sweet and nice. The prices are very reasonable. The food is good. And, they give great portions. If you want a nice lunch and you eat a lot(like me), opt for their teriyaki house special. And if you like spicy food, you can also ask for it to be spicy.

I like the this little place for lunch but as an Asian, I have to say that this is only OK and not as good as I thought from reviews. I think you can get better teriyaki chicken in the mall or other restaurants than here… but they have good price and good seats so I’d go there for lunch still. I like the teriyaki chicken, but it is not that crazy good as other was saying. You can probably get this type of teriyaki chicken everywhere! Also the rice are without sauce or anything. So I don’t understand how it would be the best teriyaki place when there’s no veggies and other sauce for rice or for side dish. And I found that the owner is Korean… So it’s kinda weird that they are doing Japanese food? hmm. Or I’m too specific. Anyways, a good place for fast lunch but don’t expect too much!

I love yakisoba, but not here. The reason!!! They do not even bother to clean their shrimp.

The spicy chicken is addictive. I literally cannot drive or walk past this place without stopping in. I’ve also tried the Bi Bim Bap and Udon, which are great. I think the cool thing about this place is that it is actually Korean-style teriyaki, rather than the just generic Americanized Asian food that I expect when I walk into a teriyaki joint. I also love the lady that works there. She wears a kitty apron and always smiles at me when I walk-in.

It’s exactly what it claims to be. Teriyaki chicken is you’re classic teriyaki chicken.

I’ve had a couple things here for takeout. Most recently, the pork fried rice and gyoza(7 pcs or 12 pcs) and in the last, the teriyaki salmon. The fried rice was good but a bit greasy. Gyoza was tasty and I really liked the salmon — cooked perfectly, good sauce. The food is prepared really quickly! All in all, nothing spectacular but decent.

I have always liked teriyaki madness. The shop is clean, the people are friendly, and the food is just what I am looking for. Curry chicken is brown curry like I like it.(Japanese style). Noodle stir fry is made to order in a wok. Spicy chicken is hot! Sauce is thick, rich, glistening. Love it.

I like to have Teriyaki. I never refuse eating Teriyaki. I go this place some times. Like their kungpao chicken and #16. Its crispy and saucy! I asked them to put cucumber salad instead of rice. They gives you bunch! The only thing that i don’t like is the sauce they put on top of the chicken Teriyaki. It’s way too sweet.

Small little joint that can fill up pretty quickly. The cucumber salad was pretty awesome, I have to say; however, I found the sauce on the teriyaki chicken a tad too much on the sweet side– which didn’t balance well with the sweetness of the cucumber salad. The folks were friendly and it’s within walking distance and a very reasonable price for a good amount of food. Definitely will come back though.

It’s like I went down one of those magical pipes in Super Mario world expecting a hidden cache of coins, enough to get me to 100 and a free 1up… instead all I got was an MSG headache. Lemme explain. This little shack of saucy madness is tiny with only a few tables and a counter, which really isn’t a problem as it’s obviously geared as a ‘togo’ place more catered to the working class and Group Health clan across the street. I see no problem with the size or for that matter the service, order at the counter, pay, and wait for your food. All orders come in a togo box regardless, which sort of makes you feel like you’re eating outside of a food truck, inside… Huh? I digress. While I wasn’t expecting much from this place, or really any teriyaki joint for that matter, I did feel reassured by the splattering of ‘NOMSG’ signs all over the place. I knew that regardless of what happens, I won’t have to succumb to brain lesions today. I ordered chicken teriyaki(no sauce) with brown rice(add $ 1). It was pretty decent… until about 30 minutes later when an MSG induced headache hit. Least that’s what I think it was from, I mean what else can cause a headache on a Friday afternoon with the workweek drawing to a close and the weekend looming? I’ll be back to give them another go and attempt to put this ghost story to bed. Update coming soonish.

–Don’t think I would get the bibimbap here again. –It was way too bland and no meat. –None of the vegetables had any flavor. –I’ve had better.

Good standard teriyaki with nice service. There are some Korean and Chinese dishes in there for variety. Portions are very large, and ambiance isn’t too dive-y. There are probably only four tables in the tiny place, so takeout seems to be the better bet.

Decent teriyaki. Not anything to write home about, but it is convenient to where I work and has never been bad per se. I can’t say anything very good about this place, nor can I say anything bad, so I will leave it with 2 stars for being neither here nor there.
